Last minute doubts about Willian now... Arnie is so tempting but West Ham are a mess

    A goal and 3 assists in 5 games????????????For 6 ml??????
Couldn't believe it when I read you but yeah... I guess I was lislead by his 6 games blanking before that.

So Gross back in. Will get Son for the double.

    -

My last dilemma now is to fit in a Chelsea def. It comes down to Christensen vs Smalling basically. Considering I also have DDG. But Christensen burnt me so often this season...

    My wildcard team is
    De Gea Karnezis
    Bailly Mustafi Duffy Morgan Tarkowski
Salah (c) Mahrez Mkhitaryan Kenedy Cork
    Lukaku Aubameyang Vardy

Bench boost and treble captain left.

No Christensen & Chelsea def cover in the end. Will reassess next GW or during 34.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,973 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

    Wound up with:

    DDG, Ryan
    Vertonghen, Tarkowski, Lowton, Cedric, Morgan
    Salah, Mahrez, Son, Willian, Gross
    Lukaku, Aubamayeng, Barnes

In hindsight I should have held off until this GW to play it. Will see how old team performs versus new team.

Is keeping Mili ahead of Gross a bad idea?

I know Milli has no DGW in 34 but a very decent fixture (Brighton at home) and a fixture in 35. While Gross has a double in 34 (Palace away & Spurs at home) but no game in 35. And his 37 double is United & City. Also Gross is not on form lately. Opposite to Mili who's also a budget enabler.

Have I answered my own question?

That’s the problem with owning him

Slowly putting together the wild card team. Making the very begrudging decision of selling firmino to catch some players that may make my final draft :(

Hopefully he gets a peno (and scores it) in 35 :p.

That said, (bad faith mode on) I told you Gross was in bad form :D.

Bah, wound up with 22 points fewer last gw as a result of the wildcard. What's worse is that I no longer have kane or sterling.

Ended up better with WC myself but do really regret selling Sterling

    Pope , Hart

Masuaku, Tarkoswki, Lowton, Van Der Hoorn, Lindelof

    Milivojevic, Mahrez, Salah, Kenedy, Willian

    Kane, Auba, Morata

Will have 9 dgw players in 34
    10 starters in 35
    Minimum 9 dgw'ers in 37

You risk having no goalie in 35 (unless you have FH of course) and tbh I think that's a risky goalie combo full stop as I also would not be suprised to see Adrian get a game too once West Ham are safe. Keep Hart switch Pope.
Heaton is getting games before end of season
You already have 2 Burnley defenders anyway...........
Also just spotted West Ham defender to go along with Hart????? Maybe stick Hennessy in instead of Hart as well. He has a game in 35.
    Lindelof - Why ?
Also don't like Morata pick especially when you have Willian. Downgrade and use money in defence

Just a general point for all looking for advice- it is hard without knowing if ye also have FH available so be helpful to say whether ye do or not

Fair point on Hennessy being a good replacement for Pope. I can see Lindelof getting a good bit of game time between now and the end of the season. Morata is a punt but I need to roll the dice and he has hat trick potential in the next two gameweeks

    Draft 2 or 3

    Ryan | Dubravka
    Monreal | Bavis | Yedlin | Dunk | Lowton
    Arnie | Mahrez | Willian | Salah | Mili
    Kaku | Kane | Barnes

I'm not sure about Bavis due to the fact he always seems to get dropped every time I bring him in and I'm also conscious of double Brighton and Newcastle at the back/goal.

I think that leaves me with 8 for DGW34 with a FH in 35

Need some united defensive cover imo

    Hennessy | Nordfeldt
    Morgan | Mee | Christensen | Lowton | Dummett
    Willian| Miky | Mane | Lingard | Lewis Cook
    Lukaku | Aubu | Kane

    .1 itb and Wildcard active.

I'm really not sure. I'd prefer Salah but can't afford. I'd like United Cover but also can't afford with risk and fancy Chelsea cover as less risky rotation could be wrong. I know I've gone double Burnley but they are solid and should finish safely. Also Salah may have pulled groin in champions league game?

Frontline is killing your team. Downgrade one and upgrade nordfelt and cook.
Seeing as you don't have mahrez I'd do auba to Vardy

    A slightly amended backline

    Monreal | Smalling | Christensen | Dummett | Lowton

I think I'm quite happy with what I've come up with. Just need to check how many are playing on the Double but for some reason Cartman's spread sheet seems to have stopped working for me

If you transfer £30 to my bank account I'll have a look at it for you ;-)

Maybe go back and download the original file from the DGW thread and see if that does the trick

I think I'm settled on the following :

    DDG | Hart

    Otamendi | Robertson | Morgan | Mee | Ogbonna

Salah | David Silva | Lingard | Milivojevic | Kenedy

    Kane | Auba | Vardy

I initially had Dunk instead of Ogbonna but Brighton's remaining fixtures are crazy. West Ham's aren't much better but Ogbonna saves me 0.3m.

Also had Son for a while this week, but don't feel comfortable having no City midfielders. Will probably do Auba > Lukaku (have the spare cash) next week for Lukaku's good looking DGW.

Midfield is a little light me thinks (especially now that there's doubts over Salah.

Currently only have 6 DGW players for GW 34, but Lukaku will make it 7. Have 11 DGW players for 37 so that'll be BB week.

I downloaded v2 again and it was the same issue. Haven't a clue what happened it was working fine at the start of the week. I'll try the v1 now

Playing wildcard. Have a draft I am happy-ish with.

    Dé Gea Lloris
    TAA, Chilwell, Zanka, Christensen, Ogbanna,
    Lindgard, Groß, Ibe, Mahrez, Willian,
    Barry, Lukaku, Kane.

This gives me 27 for 34 and 28 for 37. FH for 35.
TC one DGW and BB the next.

    All comments and suggestions appreciated.

Too much spent on GK's, go for one or the other and a cheaper option as backup, then upgrade midfield.

    Who's Barry up front? Barnes?

Great having 27 & 28 players for the DGW's but you can only use bench boost once.
