Is that the one about the dinner party, and the meteor shower? If it is, it's fantastic!
Think you might be thinking of Coherence.

Sorry guys I didn't do my research before I typed all that:( A lot of it isn't on our Netflix. Don't think I've seen Donnie Darko, wouldn't have minded seeing that. Might try The Invitation. Would have liked to try The Immigrant too but alas...

Think I'll leave it up to Peteeed et al in future.:D

Yeah it's about a dinner party. A guys ex-wife invites him over and it goes pear-shaped.

Still some films to check out that are on our Netflix and the others may turn up someday.

I watched The Invitation just now. I wasn't sure where it was headed or how I felt about it but the last half hour sure was tense! I was sweating here. On reflection, it's definitely worth a watch. It's a bit unusual. I'd be interested to hear other opinions if anyone watches it.

The Korean tv series Prison Playbook is very good. A Korean Baseball star is sentenced to prison for using excessive force on the guy who attempts to rape his sister. The Korean take on Orange is the New Black. Plenty of laughs and plot twists.

I’d recommend public enemies. Good film and Johnny Depp is gorgeous in it.

Thankfully this isn't one of the criteria I use to decide whether to watch a film or not.;)

Just out of interest, seen him in Murder on the Orient Express, and he's starting to look his age.

I've sort of given up on Dark. I think I'm in the minority but I can't put my finger on why it's not drawing me in. I stopped it last night mid-way through episode 3. Could well be the dubbing but I don't reckon so, even subtitled I reckon I'm just not too interested.

Watched The Secret in Their Eyes instead. Really enjoyed it though no surprises as I'd watched the original (subtitled) a couple of years ago.

No idea what's on the menu tonight!

I got bored of Dark too. Didn't really buy into the premise at all.

    We watched Prisoners last night.

good movie, well acted, intense and worth a watch.

He is ur right, that’s why I made a point of saying he’s really gorgeous in Public Enemies because he seemed to go downhill in looks after this film.

Yeah, it's Coherence that's the one with the meteor shower. Also well worth a look at. Sadly not on the Irish Netflix at the moment.

I thought Sheela was full of sh!t. Peace and love me arse. She wasn't long trying to manipulate local laws and reaching for the gun or the drugs. Even if she was being directed by osho she's still responsible for herself and years later was still going on like they didn't do anything wrong.

Flint Town - Flew through it this week, thought it was excellent.
I would love to see one from the Fire Dept's perspective as well.

Loved the Seven Five! More amazing is the fact that this did and maybe still happening. Wild wild Country I enjoyed for the most part. Watching Seven Seconds at moment and liking it.
Before Xmas I was complaining as I had nothing to watch. Since getting Netflix and discovering this thread I have a list as long as my arm to get to...thanks guys!!

Wohoo can’t wait to watch that, haven’t seen it in ages. I think it’s hillarious even though I guess it’s not supposed to be.

It's a black comedy. It's definitely supposed to be funny.

Christian Bale is fantastic in it.

Bale's best movie by a mile imo.
