Read the Pysician a few months ago. Good book. Is the movie any use?

From what I have watched so far (75 of 154 minutes) it's good

I haven't read the book. I will finish to watch it or restart again when I get time.

I had seen season of the witch so clicked on the tab which shows similar programs. I ended up watching The Witch. It's short at only 1hr30 ish. Dialogue is all old English and while the music is really well done and really builds the tension, it's way way too loud in parts for a film with many whispered voices. So I left it on quietly and used the subtitles.

Really enjoyed it! Just scary enough without being ridiculous. The last 10 mins ruined it somewhat for me, I'd rather be left not knowing.

    Worth a watch!

    Unforgotton is brilliant.

It's a British drama by ITV, that's about a 35 year old cold case that resurfaces after skeletal remains were found.

Only 6 episodes of the first season available.

Victoria Wood was amazing and a sad loss to comedy.

That definitely still holds up :)

There is a great sketch with her a Julie Walters buying food in a cafe as well.

Tried watching Straw Dogs last night but the audio was continually cutting off so found an old Straight to DVD John Cussack movie Reclaim.

The movie itself is actually pretty good but I had to laugh at the filmmakers intention by the end with the ham fisted message in the credits because its becomes so cliché ridden after the first half I thought they just completely abandoned that idea in favour of some action. Cussack is great in it though and its a good bit of fun.

The woman who plays the lead - Nicola Walker - somehow I find her very attractive, she looks very humane, and her eyes are like the sea. Unforgotten is great, people have to be a bit patient though, because it is atmospheric and at times is all about the subtlety. Nicola also acts in ''River'' with Stellan Skarsgard (yum) which is also on Netflix. I enjoyed both these series very much.

Watching victoria wood season 1 now......it still holds up very well!
Julie Walters has amazing comic timing and Susie Blake is hilarious.

    Watched American psycho again.

I learned one trick from it ever running away from a psycho down a lot of stairs who going to threw their weapon down on top of you, keep right in by the wall and not the outside so they won’t be able to hit u.

Watched 6 Balloons yesterday. I liked it, but it's sad, (but I like sad). Good solid performances from the cast. Realistic depiction of addiction, with some surrealism thrown in for the art of it.The small child was amazing. Don't know how they got that performance out of a toddler. (PS it's sad, did I say that :) )
