Wc last week, anyone tempted by Lukaku to Kane? Then Auba to Lukaku for 34, FH 35 and wing it after that?

    Now I am. :)

Would involve a -4 and probably a -4 in GW34 as well for me though.

I do like a points hit.

So the plan this week was to assess Kane. It looks like he is back and shoud now start. He also put Salah on warning in the press and clearly doesn't feel the Golden Boot is a foregone conclusion. That's a huge signal of intent.

I can sell Auba for Kane for my transfer or I can go a -4 for Vardy and Mkhitaryan for Kane and Lingard.

Auba was, quite frankly, very lucky to get 13 points at the weekend. Arsenal were very poor and I can see even more rotation hitting them. Vardy was seconds away from a 2 pointer too.

Right now, I'll probably bank the transfer and assess him for GW34. Vardy and Auba will start in GW33 and have superb fixtures. If Kane runs riot at Stoke, he won't affect my minileague.

Precisely my thinking RE: Kane. my only issue is I've Firmino instead of Vardy, who I don't think will start. So I could do Firmino to Wood/Barnes this week, and maybe Auba out for Kane the following week, depending on how Kane does.

I'm considering that too, but I've no FH so would have to reverse the Auba to Lukaku transfer in 35. I don't like all that chopping and changing!

Or Stanislas for Gross or another cheaper than 6.0 MF with 2 games in GW34,

Having a quick look at this I can do

    Lukaku-Stanislas to Kane-Ibe for -4.

Or any MF under 4.8 (Looking at Lewis Cook, Gosling also but they don't seem to be worth buying as part of a hit)

With Stanislas out, Ibe should be nailed on right?

Cook at 4.3 should return me the 4 points in GW 34 BB and be a nice bench enabler for GW37.

Then going into GW34 another -4:
    Auba-Son out for Lukaku-(MF under 7.5)

    Looking at Willian or Gross.

Do this make the most sense?

I think the 2 points hits are worth it for the run in. I have 0.4 to play around with so I have some time to think on it.

I love owning Bournemouth players, think they'll be my Premier League team next season when Southampton go down:p:D

So much for a boring bank!

Getting tempted by Firmino/KdB/Stanislas to Kane/Dilva/Kennedy. Not happy about taking a -8 but need to think about the run in and with no WC or FH it might be worth it?

is Son likely to be the one to miss out now that Kane is back?

    Lamela I'd say

Worth taking a - 4 to Vardy in anticipation of dgw34?
I already have Mahrez so I'm slightly hesitant.

Seems the logical way to go alright.

Actually seems likely both Firmino and Salah will be rested, especially if they have a chance of putting City out.

people dumping Lukaku for Kane is absurd. Lukaku in form and gw34 about as tasty a dgw as you could look for

i suppose maybe if some people can get Rom back in, for example, for Auba in gw34 but then most will want Auba back again for 35! :D it's all a bit of a minefield truth be told :D free hitters have a bit more leeway obviously but i know quite a lot who have free hitted already

I can't see either of them being rested. They're in danger of dropping out of the top 4 when the games in hand are played.

They’re 10 points clear of Chelsea who have a game in hand. After Chelsea losing to Spurs last weekend, Liverpool players are definitely likely to be rested vs Everton at the weekend

If Chelsea win their game in hand Liverpool will be 7 pts clear of them with 6 games left, far from being in danger of dropping out of top 4. Fir what it’s worth I don’t think either will be rested but alot depends on tomorrow night.

Well if you assume Chelsea win their game in hand it's only 7 points. It's a derby game and if Liverpool don't get top 4 they won't keep Salah next season. They will also probably be a couple of goals down to city anyway. This could all lead to a case of kicking the dog on Saturday afternoon. I'll be starting Salah and Firmino anyway.

Ya I’ll be starting them as well for sure, not taking hits to move them now, if they are rested we’ll all suffer together.
In terms of the city game, Liverpool are at home so shouldn’t (hopefully) be out of the tie. Prior to the Chelsea result, I wouldn’t have thought Liverpool would rotate too much but now with a 7 point gap if they are still in the champions league tie, I think klopp will be seriously tempted to rotate.

I’ll bank and do Auba>Kane next along with another .4 of a saving somewhere else

Think both are below 50% to start.

A golden boot chasing Kane? I'll be astonished if he doesn't start vs Stoke

I think that if they didn’t chance him against Chelsea he had to be way off full fitness.

Poch brought Kane on when Spurs were 3-1 up. This tells me that Kane is fine. 3-1 up there was no need to risk Kane at all if they were unsure about him

Oh I wouldn’t look at it that way. He got 15 mins at the end which seems like what he was able for.

I think if he was in good shape he’d have brought on earlier especially since Spurs only hit the front in the 63rd minute.

I’d narrowly edge towards him being eased into it a bit more this weekend (it’s only 6 days after the Chelsea game don’t forget).

They’ve City the weekend afterwards and Brighton 3 days later so I’d be surprised if he is starting all those 3 games in the buildup to the FA Cup semifinal. I’d go in order City, Stoke, Brighton in terms of games he is likely to start.
