I believe someone (Mick maybe?) approached Max already about covering the costs and Max said not to worry about it - the server is being used and paid for anyway so the extra capacity for games isn't costing him anything. That was my very basic understanding of it anyway.

Had a games night at a couple from the hubbys work's house last night. Started with live werewolf.

He made the set himself, downloaded the pics from the interwebs and put them onto pokerchips. Then made the cards using thick playing cards and the graphics. It was some job!

Played five games using the Ultimate WW app, set the timer for 10 minutes. I was the robber, 2 x the werewolf and 2 x villager. It was brilliant fun. I also found that my wolfyness does not come across in live! even the hubby didn't read me.

The first game I pretty much got worked out, was impressed with myself lol. I am def going to buy the ultimate ww game, as it was brilliant.

Another game that we nicknamed "Snatch Dick" which was a play on "Snack Dick" from the TV show Silicon Valley. You have this wooden thing you place in the middle and a bundle of cards with slightly different designs. Like a fancy game of snap with different rules involving grabbing the wooden thing. Was gas!

Also a few games of Cards against Humanity. Twas fun.

Going to invite the WW guy to here, think he would like playing. I hope!

The robber switches their card with someone elses. There is the troublemaker as well, who switches two peoples cards. So no one knows exactly what they are after we all have the eyes open. Good fun trying to work it out.

Sounds cool - would those roles work online? Should add them to the list of roles for possible future use.

I like the poker chips adapted for the game. Makes what we used during the Meet last week seem very unsophisticated. But sure, it did the job I guess. I'd never played live before then and it was great craic. We played a lot more than five times though, must have been up to 20 or so by the end of the night

wow, some weird dynamics from that action espicially with only 5 players, and sitting on lynch wrong you lose for whole game.

Edit: oh, whoops, not 5 total players. you just listed what you were in your 5 games.

But not broken down by game. I have the makings of a list on a spreadsheet but only up to the Star Trek game which was the last one I played before the recent two, so there's a good few games in between that I've no information on.

Every game since last March/April played here I've had some involvement in. Whenever Tigger/Andy/Mick's anon COP game was played (think it was March)

I don't think there is a problem with promoting games in another thread in the forum games forum. It's when someone says 'i responded to something you wrote in another thread please wb' that threads get pulled OT. If in doubt please ask first next time.

Qb not sure if your table include when/if people were converted? Fairly sure i got converted in the anon game on cop. I know i ended the game a wolf anyway cos we won. (Only time i lived to the end and won iirc)

As I said mistake-free isn't guaranteed and I wasn't involved in the COP game at all so even more likely there. However where known conversions have been included.
