Dara said about the moaning ' I dont know if I would describe it as sexual'.

Is that the same Dara who also reckoned your wan wasn't been raped?

If she was open to things sexually, why did she tell her friends she was raped the next day. Go to the rape crisis centre.

How does that make any sense?

This country has a problem with rape.

Well for starters it happened in the UK so I take it your referring to the UK.

You said this in the post that I was replying to.

''Why was she crying and hysterical after it if she wanted it''

Just in my experiences I have met men and women who were upset after sex the next morning. It doesn't mean they were raped tough.

Even if it isn't I'd imagine it's not something that needs to be repeated on Boards what with impending litigation and such

And stupid and all as O'Riordans tweet was, it was nowhere near the most defamatory thing I've seen this week regarding the case.

No but should a person of his stature and responsibility be tweeting on this case- I wouldn’t say his tweet was nasty but it certinly foolish on his part considering the verdict. The last line I thought was quite low from o riordan in it, really low

You'll find it easily enough on Twitter. It didn't say anything that thousands of other people had already said and there was actually a hell of a lot worse put out there by others.

At a guess, I'd imagine that Jackson's lawyers are going after O'Riordan because of his profile and to scare others into shutting up. Given the nature of the tweet and it's content, I don't think it would stand up in court at all for the Jackson side.

I have never been upset after sex the morning after. I certainly wouldnt put myself through 9 weeks of a trial after sex that I wanted.
Why do you think she was injured with the laceration?

Do any of these "I believe her protestors have lives or jobs?".

ANOTHER protest on Saturday averaging 1 every day and a half now in last 3 days!.

That Cretin Ruth Coppinger speaking at it.

It wouldnt bother me only they have little to no knowledge of the case.

Just hearsay and a few glib crude sexual text messages is all.

PJs lawyers have issued proceedings against labour senator Aodhan Riordan for a tweet he published and then deleted.

Delighted, some of these people need to be put back in their box

Why do you tbink she was injured with the laceration?

Glad to know you haven't, but if you haven't noticed you aren't the entire population and everybody reacts to things differently.

Also, as has been mentioned quite a bit here, it seems to have been a fingernail causing the laceration.

    Lunacy.

Indeed. And more than a little scumbaggy for someone to steal a water-marked video from the Irish Times and then try to relabel it as "Feminist Cancer Spreads to Dublin," for some weird women-hating little channel.

Same story happens every saturday night in every town in this country.

Perhaps, girls shouldn't get wasted drunk and go home with random lads? Maybe have a bit of common sense?

So if she goes to a party with lads which everyone does as a teenager, she deserves to get raped?

My male friend just said to me, if he had a daughter he wouldnt let her out he would be so afraid. I have also said that i will not bring a daughter up in this country. I cry looking at all these comments, it so so hard to change male views in this country. They seem to enjoy being cold callous and hard.

Certainly seems less vicious than many others, ill judged from a public representative but by no means the worst I'd have thought?

Think it's just intimidation tactics from Jackson's legal team. Scare a Senator into staying silent and they'll be able to do the same with less high-profile people.

Going to make an example out of him hopefully.

Although it'd be nice if they started to work through the cretins on twitter 1 by 1.

So what are you saying that every person who man that ends up in court accused of rape is guilty because you wouldn't put yourself through a court case if they weren't.
Just because you weren't upset after sex it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It can happen for various reason other than rape.
I can't really answer you about the laceration but women getting lacerated in consensual sex isn't unheard of. It's not nice but it can happen.

No idea of law surrounding defamation. Its a bit rich coming from a smug well connected middle class boy though.

I wonder was O'Riordans tweet responsible for the #ibelieveher hashtag that spread?

Perhaps lads should respect women and not leave a girl bleeding, cut, and crying in hysterics.

Thanks so much. How on earth is that tweet libellous?

Aren't people entitled to state their opinion on social media AFTER a case is over? Paddy Jackson is taking it too far

Why are you generalising all men as 'cold callous and hard', if thats what you think then you talk to the wrong people. Your just as bad, since apparently all men generalise women, yet here you are doing the exact same with the opposite sex. Good job on trying to push your anti-male agenda.

No country is safe for males and females alike, so there is no perfect paradise for anybody to raise their children.

Not at all, that's been going around for months. There were people with in on a banner during Ireland Six Nations games.

Who are you referring to here? Paddy Jackson?

He is more than entitled as an innocent man, to get his life back on track.
