Travellers at the north point NCT have this. Sorely tempted to go asking about it during the week, 2.2 manual and original inside & out. Looks like it would come up lovely.

I really don't know my old cars but perhaps someone can help. This morning on the M50 I saw a blue 63-reg "something" that got off at the Sandyford exit going south. I was behind him for a couple of exits - he wasn't hanging around either, easily doing 100 kmph. Didn't think of getting a pic. Anyone know the car I'm referring to?

Spotted in Greystones over the weekend - I often see this on the road, and it's a credit to the owner - very, very well kept.

Some work to dechrome it and fit the plastic bumpers and later lights. Not mad on the E36 wheels though.

I normally wouldn't be a fan of fitting wheels from one generation car to another but I think that one looks the business. Cool car.

You sure the plate was 1979? Mk2 golfs didn't enter production until 1983. How very curious!

^ that's a late Escort (iirc the Focus came into Ireland in what, late 98 maybe?) - is the bumper original on that?

I had a 97 escort. Think the reg was up in the 20000s.

There were a few high spec runout 98s as well you'd sometimes see around the place back in the day.

Escorts were manufactured long after the focus was released. I think they stopped production in 2000
