Why wasn’t said scummer at work like the rest of us instead of ballybagging around the roads and inflicting cruelty on a defenseless horse.
Because he can stay home and do as he pleases while he gets free money for life.balls of a country.

    He works nights?

Really?Have you ever tried to rehab a starved or ill-treated horse? I'd prefer money to go into destroying horses that will never recover than to spend thousands on one horse that can never, ever be useful, even as a pet or companion horse.I say this as someone who has been around horses for almost 50 years.

Have the ispca involved along with the guards then. If the animal is beyond help through cruelty or neglect then they could confiscate it anyway and charge the owner with animal cruelty where possible. If nothing else it may prevent further ownership if a ban was put in place and the ispca or a vet could end the animals suffering in a humane manner instead of letting it suffer in their clueless hands.boils my blood the thoughts of it.
Guaranteed if that happened in the states the fukrs would see jail.watch animal cops Houston.them boys aren’t afraid to knock on door and root out the scum

A horse owned by the same culture dropped at a roundabout in Limerick a few years ago. A vet arrived at the scene and was threatened with being shot if they helped. It took the horse 3 hours to die. The scum wouldn't even use the bullet on the horse...

Actually, she's right. If you get the horses early enough, you might stand some hope. We took a cob out of Dublin when it was 2. It was broken and riding (in a manner of speaking) but the nerves in his mouth had already been damaged beyond repair. It took years to develop any sort of response from his mouth and even now, 16 years later, he still can ignore the reins if he wants because feeling is minimal.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It does take a lot of work, care, money and commitment. Secondary problems are often worse than primary problems.

If you don't own a field you have no business owning a horse.

Animal abuse needs to be taken more seriously in Ireland and the bizarre notion that any groups 'culture' entitles them to treat an animal like shite needs to stop. Some people are more offended by negative comments about a certain section of Irish society than they are about horses dying in agony on the middle of a road. In no other civilised country would scumbags get away with this nor would there be almost weekly threads of people standing up for the rights of animal abusers.
