And there are several different sellers, hence the request for the direct link from where he bought it.

Really not to hard to find using the link you were given. That's what search boxes are for on a site...finding what you are looking for.

    https://www.geekbuying.com/item/Global-Version-Xiaomi-Mi-A1-5-5-Inch-4GB-64GB-Smartphone-Black-387791.html

There's a link for the one from Germany but you have a choice of other places geekbuying deliver from.

    Hey folks,

Apologies, have posted this before but am just curious about my order with Geekbuying...

I've received an email from PreSale support - they are looking for pictures of my credit card and photo ID before they will ship..

Has anyone had to do this when they ordered from them..? Have never ordered from them before so maybe its because its my first order..??

Sorry, can't help. I used PayPal. It is something I have heard of on some other sites too but very rarely.

Thinking of buying this phone from Geekbuying Germany.
Has anyone spent the extra €33 on the package that includes tempered glass and soft case? Is it worth it and what is the colour and quality of the case?
    Thanks

I'm confused about the glass screen protector , does that affect the performance in any way?

    Link not working for me.

On an unrelated subject I downloaded mobdro and can find it in downloads folder. How do I get it onto home screen or apps list?

Did you install it? If it's an apk file then you need to install it before it's an actual app on the phone.

Sorry, new to Android. I downloaded it, opened it and watched a few bits of sport. How would I find out if I installed it?

Really like this phone for the money, just installed the google camera app, going to have a play around with it to see if it's any better.

More options, and seems to take better photos. You lose the 2x zoom though..

That's only the digital zoom, it doesn't use the second lens.
