It's a bank holiday...not a public holiday... technically it's a normal working day for 85% of the population.

Eh?? No, it very much isn't.

You'd want to check that ..it's called a day of observance...it's up to employers discretion...most shops will close Saturday and open Monday

    Indeed...but not a public holiday...world of difference.

Definitely it’s public holiday. A quick google confirms this.

It was the "normal working day for 85%" comment that I was talking about.

Will be here... shops open for business as usual... Saturday is the public holiday, chamber of commerce here are in agreement... otherwise...some open sat and others Mon..and vice versa.

    But I agree...it's still a complete shatfest

    You're just proving my point.

Anyhow.. enough. Sorry my fault here...ll take it to the off topic thread

I've never seen people be so broken by a MOTM decision. I will never understand what Kearney is meant to have done to people. I always presumed it was a bit of a provincial thing, but between this thread and what I've seen on line I'm legit baffled at the mental gymnastics people are forcing themselves through to undermine Quinny's decision.

Ah it's hilarious, all you can do is have a laugh at it. There was a guy here who claimed Kearney was making faces for 15 years and that he is a bad citizen because of his arrogance and his friends managed to online bully him into being one of the most successful players ever. Couldn't have anything to do with hard work or ability. He played better than Hogg yesterday. He is in better form now than he was 5 years ago. There's terrible ageism in sport. It would be best for rk to have facial reconstruction to look sad and be worse at positioning so he can be more exciting.

Tbf...it's just the one... think the rest of us think he had a fine game

Than you DB. I was too confused to ask, what with the pouting. Rob K and his gray hair. Right now I am so confused, it's like I have a severe dose of the galloping knobrot.

About 30 odd years ago, I saw Willie Duggan pout. Maybe it wss a smile, idk. But he did get sent off. Probably because he was pouting. It was after he punched Geoff Wheel. They both pouted, hence they were removed and not fed after the game.
