    Get in. Me too.

Kind of out of the loop recently, are you still in the 1710 campaign Slo?

Yep I am indeed. Eggs in a few baskets so to speak.

    Nothing wrong with contingency planning

Definitely my plan. Can always withdraw my application if I’m successful in the 1710 campaign. Well here’s hoping.
Tho I’d imagine these posts will be filled long before that.

Nothing wrong with that, I am applying for everything right now because I am nearing the end of my education and need something full-time to get into

Always good to have a backup plan. I’m getting to a stage where I’m beginning to really dislike my job so I’ve applied for a few other things too tho I really want the cdo or obviously what we all want to be a officer.

The main aim for everyone here is to be in the same place, but its getting something to do in the meantime

Yep and it’s a long process and nothing worse than being in a job you hate while waiting 🙈

I’m in a dilema the other way, I’m starting to love my job and sometimes I wonder am I mad to leave it. But there is always that little voice saying “you would regret not trying”

I got the email about the 1st stage of the cdo today with results being towards the end of the month and interviews shortly after that.

    Have you attempted the assessment/questionnaire?

How did you find it? As intense as the IST?

Seriously? I found the CH test 100 times harder than the IST.

    Really. What was it like?

There was a lot more to it so keeping the concentration was tough. They said it should take 30 to 40 mins but there's no time limit. No way I would have finished in time if there was.

Again no time limit for the cdo but they said 10 minutes would do it.

    Dispatchers just chillin

Having completed that I that and finding it relatively straightforward I think the competition will be tight. Everyone will score very highly. Maybe the 100%er's will be taken to interview.

I was worried it was to straightforward and I’ve overlooked something.

I have a theory for dispatchers.

Grafton are a small firm and as such may only be able to manage 2 competitions at a time.

Coupled with the fact that there was an internal dispatcher trawl.

Means that we wont hear until after CDO and CH merit lists are set

Quite possibly but why run the 3 at the same time if they can’t cope.
