They’d bring you to court over it just as an example to others. If you over €1 the state will pull out all the stops to reclaim it off you, with penalties for any delays in payment.

joes thinking on 5e is like a zimbabian trying to figure out how many million they need for a loaf of bread. Does not compute!

The contrast between this gentlemen’s attitude and Joes ingrained entitlement mentality is astounding

Joe desperately trying to scoop a red top tabloid angle on this

This gentleman has brought up a good point here that may serve well for the “little people” after bereavements in the future. An al-go-rhythm May now be formulated to stop claiming back petty amounts which serve little purpose other than distress the newly bereaved.

For gawd’s sake you can buy as many copies as you want when registering a death. You can plaster the wall with dem if you do wish. There’s no original so to speak. It’s on the compuewter

    Total non story.

And you can get multiple "original" death certs from the State, you need a few of them as institutions like banks, certain providers and other State organisations insist on an original rather than a copy. Would have thought Joe would have known that.

Tying up the loose ends when someone passes away is a pain, and can be upsetting but it's not a reason to be getting Joe involved tbh.

Bizzarre divisions of risk area. She moves further away from the city and pays more.

This thing he does now is bizzare; he tells the current caller about what the previous caller just told him in a "you think thats bad, wait till I tell you what I just heard.." as if it was some gossip he heard at the watercooler.

Liveline is Joe and Joe is Liveline.

do you have room for a pony caller ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,829 ✭✭✭✭Dan Jaman
