Monalee has to go for the JLT doesn't he? Take on the unknown of Presenting Percy over a trip he was beaten at last year's Festival or go for the race where he just has to reproduce his Flogas run to win. Take on PP or IO? Whether you think Monalee is better than PP or not you know he holds IO on form. No brainer really.

Was reading the Monday jury in the RP last week and Sean Flanagan said Presentimg Percy is his banker bet of the festival.

Yeah, like I'd much rather go into Cheltenham knowing your horse has the trip and opposition covered rather than doubts over the trip and a horse who could be anything? I mean it's so hard to get a handle on how good PP is because of the way he's been campaigned. He could be stuffed or he could win half the track. At least you know where you stand in the JLT and Monalee goes off fav in the JLT.

Interesting one for anybody who has backed Douvan/Min, Nick Luck just threw it into a BetBright preview there. Said that he asked Ricci last night who would Ruby ride on the day if both go and Ricci said that if on the day he is told Ruby is riding Min he will wonder why they are even bothering to run Douvan as what's the point and would pull him. Might be a nice NRNB no bet, on that basis.

Ya I heard in an interview last week with Willie Mullins and he was asked would it be a tough decision for Ruby between Douvan and Min and Mullins replied 'Not really, he'll ride the form horse - Min'. In an another interview with Patrick Mullins who was asked would he ride Min or Douvan and Patrick said 'No question, you ride Douvan'.

In truth if Douvan's going and is meant to be spot on there shouldn't really be a choice to make for Ruby, this time last year Douvan was unbeatable as far as they were concerned.

Forecast for Cheltenham seems poor enough lads. Ground will definitely be soft.

I'm also extremely worried Monalee goes JLT. This makes me extremely sad.

I know yeah haha. I saw another thing aswell and WPM was giving his best bet of Cheltenham and it was Altior! Think it's on Twitter.

I must say I think we'll look back at this year's Champion Bumper in a few years and think 'F*ck that was some bumper'. Didtheyleaveuoutto, Hollowgraphic, Blackbow, Rhinestone, Felix Desjy... they are serious horses imo.

Anyone who can get on with Bet365 should surely be taking 14/1 Samcro for the supreme NRNB. Probably tying money up for nothing but what price if it lines up? Sub 3/1 I reckon

Wha? Willie says Ruby would ride Min.
Paddy says he himself(Paddy) would ride Douvan.
    Can you read? <<<<<<<

Anybody with half a brain cell knows if both line up he rides Douvan, Willie spoofing again as usual.

Footpad drifting a fair bit now.

Petit and Saint Calvados both sortening significantly.

    Interesting.

Footpad and Getabird both very weak.

Anyone know if Sharjah will be going for the supreme.
Can forgive its run the last day against Samcro as Samcro looks an aeroplane. Should have won at leop at Christmas only for falling at the last in the race before that as it was looking like the main danger to possibly beat Mengli Khan.

Could be worth a bet with skybet with the 20€ offer free bet at 16s.

Footpad and Getabird both very weak.

Probably because eventually people copping on they are too short fir their races , and no one going fir them in previews .

Could end up part of nice acc at real prices .

Could Willie be doing the ultimate Hokey-Cokey?

Footpad shortening for JLT on exchanges...

Invitation Only a shade of blue on exchanges for Arkle.

Arkle: Invitation Only 25/1 with Bet365, Paddy Power only 12/1

JLT: Footpad 6/1 with Bet365, Paddy Power only 2/1

Footpad definitely worth a bet for JLT @ 6/1 NRNB and double probably worth a small ew bet in two shallow races too.

    Never know with Willie..

Great spot. Same owners with Sceau Royal. Cant see them clashing.

Soft to heavy is almost inevitable with the snow that has already fallen and the forecast has rain most days.

Hadn't even thought of that factor.

As I posted last night, there's real shades of Vautour about way Footpad runs IMO. Could just imagine Ruby pinging him out infront in a JLT. 6/1 is a rick anyway.

Good to Soft ground is still the most likley ground, just checked and there are two bookies with a market and both are 8/11 on Good to Soft.

Cracking Smart out of the Festival. Awful shame. Be a few more to join him I'd say.

Those owners only had 2 winners at the festival last year and 1 winner in 2016.
Everyone wants a winner at the festival they wouldn't mind the clash.
Sceau Royal is only entered in the Arkle where as Footpad had it and JLT.

I'd be for Footpad and hoping he goes Arkle said before here think him and Un de sceaux would be the Mullins bankers for me.
