If I won the lotto I'd buy land and set up an American style boot camp for teenagers who break the law. No physical violence but my god they wouldn't want to come back!

Or just buy the Vernon C. Bain Correctional Center prison barge, it's currently parked up in the Bronx, but they might loan it out for a few years. Space for a few thousand guests.

We pulled together and brought eva flowers, dinners, support and company. But these guys will be out in a few years and if they aren't killed by the people in our area, they'll be doing this sh*t again.

That's what I'm trying to say here. Theres no way someone hopped on a jcb or whatever it was, thrashed a lidl and robbed groceries. This wasn't their first offence. So at what point do we decide that enough is enough?
I know they got the crap kicked out off them when the names were outed on FB, junkie scum. Sad thing is they will be left alone till the next time they near kill someone. Just like that poor lad at the train station

Nice work how? You said they're a big corporation, a big corporation that give locals employment.
You should worry about the elderly in your locality, I pointed out that I have done that

So what point are you trying to make here?

They are a big company. So we're clear on that.

I never asked yourself to help the elderly but you found it necessary to tell me your story.

I was originally replying to Atlantic Dawns post and I dont think I said anything that would offend anyone, so I'm not sure why you came at me with your STFU comment.

    No you wouldn't.
But if pretending you would makes you feel better go for it.

I'm really dismayed now that my part of the country got barely any snow. Aldi had all the lovely Mothers Day stuff in today and there's plenty of diggers lying about idle.

If capitalism was a fair system, we wouldn't have looting. It's not, so some members of the poor are going to take these opportunities when they come along. I wouldn't like to see it happen to a small business, but big greedy German companies that treat their employees like non-humans, timing their every move, spying on them (google it), fine by me.

What I'd really love to see is some looting and destruction of an Apple building. They owe billions and we can't even give sick or injured OAPs a bed in hospital when they need one.

The looting tonight was not a protest against captalism whatsoever, it was just scumbags been scumbags, nothing more remarkable than that.

The idea that this wouldn't have happened if there was some sort of communism system here is fanciful.

Its as tedious as right wingers blaming immigrants for everything, those on the left constantly criticising the likes of Apple, Lidl and the government for every flaw in the country.

Lidl are not perfect, but the only people who benefited tonight were some scumbags. Wonderful.

Dosent it take some balls and lack of giving a **** to steal an excavator and demolish half a supermarket and then try smash a safe using the excavator. Its not something a normal person would consider doing obviously. Someone capable of that given the right circumstances and guidance from the very beginning would have had the potential to do something interesting with their lives. Now they are the dirt bag that made their community suffer and their country look bad to outsiders.

Did they get the safe open in the end?

It’s an excellent point sow of these ads are quite smart and driven they were just sent in the wrong direction. Olive in a private estate with lots of kids around that age. 90 per cent of them wouldn’t help their parents shovel driveways today. If you gave them a shovel they’d feint. Most of these lads will walk into employment and never struggle in life.

Communism/socialism is great. That is why it always fails.

This is nothing to do with big greedy companies. Its to do with lawless, lazy fecks that think everything should be handed to them for free.

This did not happen because they were poor and starving. It happened because they are thieving scum. Most of the persons involved have clothes, phones etc that cost big bucks.

    Poor my arse.

Yep. The 'king of heists' loot bag showed a few boxes of white magnums. I mean they weren't sticking it to the man, they were scumbags being scumbags.

While the looting might have been spontaneous, the destruction and extraction of the safe was not. In fact I would surmise that the building was originally broken into to Rob the safe and looters outside followed in

According to reports, roadblocks were put in place to slow the response and the excavator driver bashing the safe looks suspiciously expert at it. There appears to have been an element of organisation around the latter.

Communism isn't the same as socialism. Get a dictionary.

See all those Ambulances, Fire trucks, County/City ploughs/gritters, Gardai arresting thugs? Those are services provided by THE STATE (oh noes!) which is pretty damn socialistic.

    Socialismists are gonna get us!

Think the odds for IrExit 2020, and orders for new Mediterranean taxi boats have just been reduced.

Pause at 1:39 or so, everyone standing around the safe is white.

I feel sorry for all the folks in Tallaght who have done so much to change the reputation of the place - the IT, Shamrock Rovers, good secondary schools, the GAA clubs etc. Of all the planned estates in Dublin, it was going well.

There'll be nothing good said about the area tomorrow on the news. Which is a real shame. The proper working class will be left in the lurch again.

Yes, the section of crowds going to the Shamrock Rovers matches starting fights are lovely. They even travel to cause trouble at away games.

There are more than a few scumbags in Tallaght. I do feel sorry for the decent people but there does seem to be a higher percentage that don’t give a **** about anyone else than most other areas.
