Told not to come to work in Cork City this evening, or Thursday evening. Sitting here (just outside Mallow) looking at the sun splitting the stones all day. Bored beyond reason and after getting 8 messages from various people stating I must be buried in it.

Is it too early to open a bottle of wine???

I've had three pints is it too late to stop?

Mildly interesting: Snow is only sticking to the side of the chimney pots that weren't exposed to sunlight, forming a perfectly straight line. iH7T9Yx.jpg

Even the high command in Europa say 'pray for Leinster' (and that wee busy road bit in Scotland).
Santa Claus man up in Northern Santaworld is also having a bad time.

Took this photo just this second out living room window. Snow shower in last hour has replaced some of thawed snow. We still have several inches of snow here and I hear from my brother 15 miles up the road in Cork city that they have nada!

Quite heavy here, out in Bishopstown, but doesn't appear to be sticking.
