Do you know the difference when bread has been frozen then toasted as opposed to Fresh?

No, just takes a little longer to toast.

    Not to worry!

Another poster understood the question and has already answered my query.

Maybe brain freeze is a side effect of frozen toast.

No photo's, but I had 3 x slices of hickory bacon grilled, 2 x eggs quickly fried so they were crispy with a runny centre.

1 half of a bagel toasted and buttered and a slice of fadge (shop bought admittedly) but was dam tasty. I fried it beside the eggs btw.

Eggs lightly fried with a blood orange on the side.

Love blood oranges, I wish they were available year round.

They are Italian blood oranges, and I think the season is Jan - late April.

Overnight steel-cut oats made during the night in the slow cooker, then topped with fresh raspberries, crunchy almond butter and pumpkin seeds this morning :)

Yes they're always available in the run up to Easter. I know because when I was a child my grandmother told me that the 'blood' represented the blood of Jesus  :o:D

Every so often I manage to make a porridge / oatmeal brekkie that's bordering decadent like that but don't normally have the time :(

This morning was oats made with water / milk, chopped pear, ginger and cardamom powder :)

Anti-gravity yoga in the morning (aka hanging upside down) so will have to be careful with the brekkie choice.....:o

Woke up with little in the fridge today so dug around in the freezer and found two frozen ham and cheese jambons (score!) and a bag of IKEA frozen cinnamon buns (double score!).

Half an hour later and a pot of hot coffee we had ourselves a little pastry feast in front of the fire. :)

Huevos rancheros again. Still no sour cream but had avocado and instead of a tortilla on some cornbread I made yesterday.

Had poached eggs on Pana sourdough toast in the Good Day Deli in Cork. No pic but it was tasty.

I made Nigellla Lawson’s Turkish Eggs this morning but with some tweaks. First I added some sage to the chili brown butter to add a little extra oomph. Instead of poaching eggs, I soft fried the eggs in the pan that I used to brown the butter.

Add in some toasted buttered spelt loaf and it was gorgeous

I remember seeing her cook that a while back and thought it looked delish :)

It really delicious and quite easy to make.

The warm yogurt with garlic and salt is damn tasty in its own right. I could see myself having that with salad and grilled meats in future.

I cooked up the rest of the eggs, crumbled some leftover bacon, chopped a potato, fried onions and cheese sprinkles.
Made 8 breakfast burritos, froze 7 of them for the week. I hope you can freeze cooked eggs, else I wasted all that food!
