No mention of any reward. If I'm gonna turn grass, there'd better be something in it for me, that's all I'm sayin'.

Maybe better if the public do their job for them. After all i certainly wouldnt believe the figures they'll eventually publish on it.

That's certainly one way to curtail the enormous fraud of tax evasion that's widespread among many of the very people singling out social welfare recipients as parasites on our taxes. Just how many people here do not pay a tradesman, for instance, the "cash price"? At best, you'll get from the tradesman, "I have to put some of it through the books just in case, but the rest can be cash".

Meanwhile PAYE workers, who must pay their full taxes, subsidise these tax-evading self-employed parasites. Never a word in After Hours demonising such people, though. The "respectable" parasites on Irish taxpayers.

I wouldn't say all of them, plenty of rotten apples in the barrel for sure, but a few good ones out there too. sadly the dodgy ones give the good ones a bad name.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

The one man that did shout Stop was nearly crucified. McCabe is hated within the force for "ruining our reputation". I guess it's much harder to sit around the station blowing fake breath tests.

They were out in force last night with the real thing around my place.
I should have told them to go home and sit in the station but then I hadn't done anything wrong and was glad to see them.

There are plenty of rathkeales out there at this stage ... Longford , mullingar , Tuam , Ennis , castleisland , kilrush , Tipperary town etc etc ....

Why use CAB to sort that one out when a nuclear bomb would do a much quicker job?
