Started watching black mirror, first 3 episodes.

It's good but I find it very odd.

Does it stay like this throughout?

Yep. Some odder than others though.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

More or less, but after the Christmas special there's a bit of a softening in tone, where it moves a little bit away from outright misanthropy and more towards darker version of Twilight Zone style stories. That said, some of the later episodes are still pretty grim viewing...

Has anyone watched...Shot in the Dark, Netflix's docuseries on the real life LA Nightcrawlers.

I've enjoyed both Netflix's short docuseries Dirty Money and Dope and I'm looking for something similar to watch.

Is anyone watching Dynasty? One of the lead females looks so much like Lyndsey Lohan. I think it’s pretty good.

Is Dynasty a remake of the show from the 1980s?

Yep, not half as good though. Plot holes you could drive a train through.

Departures is leaving the 16t Probably one of the best foreign movies I've seen in years. Very powerful film but doesn't get overly grim and has a nice few laughs at times considering the subject.

    2 episodes into Dark
I don’t know if ill be sticking with it
    It’s quite like Lost.......

    I wish I hadn't
Confusing for the most and then an utterly predictable ending after all the mental effort to keep up for 10 episodes
For your own sanity dont bother !

And just to reiterate it is nothing like Stranger Things. It is like Lost. That's not a recommendation

I liked Testament of Youth. Alicia Vikander is great in it, one of her best English language performances.

I've heard the Mortified Podcast before, it's very good. I'd say it's definitely worth checking out.

There is a documentary on Netflix called Mortified Nation that was brilliant. The series seems to follow the same format so looking forward to it.

Earth to echo is a pretty sweet Super 8/ET knock off but its fun..my niece and nephew liked it anyway.

The darkest hour....is utter trash...I quite enjoyed it too :D

Just checked for the Monty Python shows there and found nothing either. If you google it the link that comes up says “not for viewing in your region”. Weird.

Anyone have any good series to recommend? Have watched Dark, Unabomber, Mindhunter, The Sinner, La Mante, Bordertown all over the past number of months and really enjoyed them all if anything could recommend something along those lines.. Cheers.
