Yeah..that's exactly the kind of blind boy/bandits output that I would consider the opposite of funny..

What is the opposite of funny? Unfunny? Tragic? Mundane?

    they/them/theirs

YeH I’m kinda over it to be honest. It was interesting to start off with, meaning the podcast. He should have done it as a short 4-6 episode thing for his book promotion.

It’s all gone a bit self indulgent now.

Some people devote a lot of their energy to hating others, they have a lot of spare hate to spread about the place.

Because you're blatantly a nobody giving out about someone who is doing what he can while he is in the limelight to get people, men in particular, to talk about things they wouldn't have spoken about previously. These are facts, if you would like to prove me wrong about you and your stature in the mental health community in Ireland I'm all ears.

As yes, the olde "Geldof" defense.

Don't think clearly about things, just go on what gives you feelz man, yeah bagface is great he's doin something.

I suppose it could be true, I mean look at all the great things Trump is doing for America. I mean, he is always talking about it, and on a much bigger stage than Dave Chambers. I can't quantify the good he's doing, but taking is the same right??

Blindboy bagface is the Irish version of Tony Robbins; Give em addictive emotional feelz but dress it up and make it talk like a scumbag so the Irish can relate.

    Genuis marketing, fair play.

So are the two of ye dovetailing to say that because you can attribute 2 'celebrities' who are of questionable repute in recent years to both posters on this thread and to BB, that any question of taking BB seriously is, by association, rediculous?

I have to say, reading through a lot of the responses to the OPs original question, the case for not taking BB seriously seems to be stemming from:

    a) he is a comedian / has a persona
    b) he has a bag on his face
    c) he isnt qualified to talk about mental health
    d) he is just trying to make cash out of a hot topic

Is there anything else that ye would care to extrapolate on? Because all of the above have been rebuffed by those on this thread who dont think they are true

Trump is a genuis marketer, persuasion expert.
Don't know if he is doing much, if anything he's making his family rich especially his princess daughter.
But the world avoided Clinton and that's good enough for me.

For a start, the blatent pushing of cultural marxism propaganda e.g. "Irish men need feminism".
Yeah, They need feminism like they need cancer.

Bagface wages against the strawman of "capitalism", of course he's too stupid or indoctrinated to make the distinction between the most important part of capitalism (legitimate small business ownership) and corporatism-globalism.

The likes of bagface are the useful idiots for the globalists.

One clowns around feigning compassion for the average Joe who is trampled by the system and the 'elite'. All the while feeling smug about himself and reminding people of his achievements.

    The other is Donald Trump.

Jaysus - I think the feminism take was one part of one interview - it really gets to some people doesn't it? Incredible

Ok but you are mixing up agreeing with him and taking him seriously. No problem with you not agreeing with what he said. Thats fine. But not taking him seriously enough to discuss what he said? Why not? Do you disregard everything that other people say because you disagree with one of their comments?

I see what you are trying to do, push me into a cul de sac. No dice.

He blatantly pushed a particular agenda and worse than that he promoted the cancer as the cure on vulnerable people. Utter Scumbag.

    The agenda reveals all.

Im just asking you a question, no pushing you one way or the other. Ill take your answer at face value that you dont judge the entirety of someones value to be taken seriously based off one comment.

What is his agenda? Genuine question here again. Im just trying to nail why people dont want to take him seriously, to bring it back to the OP.

No he didn't. He gave his opinion like we all do several times a day. He was asked for it infact.

And the opinion reveals the agenda.

By definition, a single opinion cannot reveal an agenda. Multiple opinions, or at least the same opinion mutliple times, would reveal an agenda.

I explained the agenda in a previous post. I also explained one of his inconsistencies; The failure to make the distinction between capitalism and corporatism.
I can't keep repeating myself, you either get it or you don't.

I get what you are trying to say; im asking you do you have more than one piece of evidence to support the existance of the theorised agenda you mentioned.

I only asked for a clarification on the agenda, as you cant give one instance as proof of an agenda.

By definition there has to be more than one instance.

So either there is an alternate agenda you havent explained that the instance in question is proof of, or there is more evidence; which i am curious of and would like you to share! :)

    I have posted this before.

Blindboy made a huge sweeping statement when he said that Feminism is what young men need. And he did it on National TV.

He never qualified it, never caveated it, never explained what aspects or strains of Feminism should be investigated and ignored. Again he did this on national TV.

A LOT of modern Third/Fourth wave Feminism that is out there and visible is highly toxic. Its central message is that White CIS Gendered men are the enemy and that they are oppressors. Of Women, of minorities, of trans people as well.

Now this may not be visible is, or as visible, to older white men who do not live in the digital world. But it is visible to young men who are inhabiting the digital world almost constantly now.

How toxic this strain of feminism, and I use the word strain because it is a virus, can be seen in the way that it treats REAL feminists like Camille Paglia, Germaine Greer or Julie Bindell. Hell even Margaret Atwood has been getting it in the neck recently from these Third/Fourth wave feminists.

And this is the feminism that young men need?

Blindboy needed to be very clear and very careful when he delivered the message that young men needing feminism.

    He was neither.

And that is why he is getting criticism for it.
