It depends on the usage but in building design it's designing where the windows and doors are. More generally it's any opening in a structure.

I like that answer New Home! I have looked up the answer so I can't say any more, except that I think that Old Goat should have given me 4 out of 5... :D

    I would have given 4.8/5

All the others are correct, too, though. :)

Full moons, or even blue moons, don't follow the calendar month and can happen in February, just not THIS February. I wonder is the question specific to this year.

true, blue moons are when full ones happen in same month, can't be 2 full moons in Feb is what I meant.

Question was a bit ambiguous, may wait until Quazzie gets back online.

Hmmm. Now that I think of it, technically it could happen in a leap year, but what are the odds of that!

    Full moons 19th Feb 2019 & 9th Feb 2020.
    And 11th Feb last year.

He must mean this year only - if the Full Moon is the answer.

I meant a blue moon. To have two full moons in February you'd need to have a leap year, so one would occur on the first and the other on the 29th.

Yes, as the Modern definition of a Blue Moon stands they are 29 days and 6 hours apart, so none in February. Until an adjustment of terrestrial time to match astronomical time at some point in the very far future.

What months do the follow if not the calendar month?

A new moon happens every 29.53 days so two them in the one month can never happen in February.

Ummm.....depends upon what you mean by "happens". Are you taking into account the duration of a risen full moon?

A new moon is but an instance. Everything before it is waxing, and everything after it is waning. Granted it might be unnoticeable to most people, but technically it's true.

As in they (being full moons) don't happen on the 1st of the month and can be on any date of any month.
