Take a multi Vitamin without Vitamin A. I made that mistake....

Thanks Ruby, any recommendations on which one or are they all the same?
Congrats on your pregnancy and best of luck with the next few months :)

Makes note to self to actually take my mutlivit/folic acid. I’ve got lax at this stage.
Welcome Corkbaby. Hopefully your stay will be short.

I’m waiting for Cycle 10. Cycle 9 was pretty much a write off due to bad timing of travel and Christmas

Good luck to you too Gaga, hope you aren't waiting much longer.

Cycle 12 for me this month so I have a feeling I will be going down the IVF route this year. Although my test results are normal, I think my endo is preventing pregnancy naturally. So will see what happens this month, fingers crossed x

Too much vit A has been linked to birth defects. I don't know if it has been proven but still best to avoid it.

Tested this morning as one day late and had an MRI this evening. Big fat negative. Started this evening and I was actually ok with that. It’s the unknown I don’t like at all

Cycle 10 now. Booking an appointment with the GP as getting one sided pain/twinges from ovulation through to my period for the last three cycles. It’s annoying me and I’m a year trying at the end of the month anyways.

It's my first ovulation week since my lap in December.

Do many people get signs they are ovulating? I don't think I've ever noticed it. I usually ovulate around day 17/18 so fingers crossed this is my month/year.

    Hi Ladies!

Thank you so much for a very informative thread. In a weird way there's so much comfort in knowing I'm not alone in this and I have so many options left to explore.

I've been living in Ireland (Dublin) for about 18 months and TTC for about 2 years.
During my last visit home I visited a gynaecologist which prescribed some fertility medication to use for 3 cycles, unfortunately it didn't work so now we're considering our next steps - which we assume is to get our fertility tested.

I'm not at all familiar with the Irish health care system, how it works and so forth. Never had to see a doctor since I moved here, so I don't even have a GP. I could therefore really use some advice from you lovely ladies.
I'm a mature student (31) and my fiance works abroad (he's away half the year) and we don't have health insurance.
(I was advised at home that my EU medical card is my insurance due to my student status - Not quite sure how true that is)

So, do you have any recommendations for us on where we go from here? Do I need to start by seeing a GP to get a referral? Or can I go straight to a gynaecologist or a clinic to get tested?
Same for him, where do we get him tested?

Many thanks in advance for your help :)

I’d probably skip your GP all together and go straight to a clinic. Whichever clinic you decide to go to should be able to do both yours and your partners tests.

Do you have health insurance? I know VHI offer discounts in Repromed but I never got around to going to them so I’m not sure how good they are.

Unfortunately we don't have health insurance, unless my EU medical card is considered as one - according to my research it's not.
I have to admit I'm a bit confused, in my country I would see a gynaecologist for a test. Are clinics the only ones that do the tests?

    Which clinic can you recommend?

If you have a GP referral you'll save the cost of a separate consultation in a clinic. Some clinics will take you without referral but some won't. You can get many tests done pubically with a gynae which also needs a GP referral but will be free as opposed to paying for the tests privately. Where are you from? Many treatments are cheaper abroad.

Afraid I’ve no knowledge on that.

I’m due cycle day 1 on sat. Negative test yesterday so fairly certain I’m out already which I’m some ways I’m happy with as I need an X-ray guided steroid injection in my foot and I’m on strong anti inflammatorys twice a day for the next month

    Hi Ladies,
I am new to this. I have stage 4 endo and we are ttc for over a year now. My cycle is between 26 and 31 days. .. before my diagnosis I always had a regular 28 day cycle. Just wondering if cycle day 30 is too late to experience implantation bleeding? Had tiny amount this morning but nothing since.

    +Symptoms
Day 30 of possible 31 day Cycle
    Fatigue
    Mucus in urine
    Cramping in the morning
Faint line on Tesco test 2 days ago

    -Symptoms
Day 30 of cycle 26-31 days... mostly 28 days
Temp down from 37 to 36.3 deg celsius
Tiny bit of brownish blood on paper when I wiped this morning (no sign since)
BFN on First Response yesterday Clear Blue today

    Would love people’s opinion thanks

I think the fact that your temp has gone down shows that your period is on the way.

Don't give up hope though. Do you know when you ovulated?

BFP. I have been in a fog all day and now it’s finally sinking in I’m crying. Can’t decide if it’s happinrss or fear but gonna roll with the first for now!

Nothing different this cycle and tbh it’s easily been one of the most stressful in real life so I’m stunned
