The women that don't regret their abortion are the ones who don't realise the enormity of the act.

so you're trying to suggest there's something perhaps mentally wrong with women who don't regret aborting a fetus?

I suppose those that wear condoms don't realise the enormity of the act whey they defy god by stopping sperm also, how dare they.

I didn't say that there was anything mentally wrong with these women. I said that they didn't realise the enormity of the act of abortion.

Another poster who clearly doesn't trust women to know their own minds.

Abortion is a heinous offence against Almighty God, and unless repented of, such people shall not enter the Kingdom of God.

What’s more important, the health and happiness of your sister/mother/daughter/wife/friend, or your fear of upsetting the almighty lord???

The health and happiness of your sister is as nothing compared to the loss you would suffer if you are excluded from the Kingdom of God.

Which is your firmly held religious belief and a good reason why you should not have an abortion. It is not a good reason for anyone who does not share your beliefs. To suggest otherwise is to promote theocracy. You do not act in accordance with other people's religious beliefs, why should they act in accordance with yours?

If you do not understand what I am saying, you will be excluded from the Kingdom of God, and suffer eternal dam nation. Wise up.

I actually couldn’t give a <snip> if I don’t. You are so self absorbed that you don’t realize or respect other people have different beliefs.

Yes. Another heinous crime. People must repent of their sins now.

I don't believe that a Christian can morally vote for unlimited abortion.

The Sixth Commandment is very simple and very clear ... 'Thou shalt not kill'.

It means that you cannot kill yourself or another Human Being, except in self defence (or the defence of another Human Being) where no other option is available.
This is the basis for all laws protecting the person and criminalising the killing of other people in Common Law Jurisprudence.

Induced abortion is ethically and morally wrong ... except where the life of the mother is directly threatened and there is no other option available to save her.

This is the current law in Ireland.

Voting to expand Irish Law to allow the unlimited killing of unborn children is not something that any Christian (or other monotheist, indeed) can do in conscience and in clear contravention of the Sixth Commandment of God.

The sixth commandment in its entirety is actually Thou shalt not kill the groove, dj.

None of us are God and have no right to judge others.

That is the freedom of choice that God gave you. You have made your choice.

If you won’t respect other people’s beliefs why should anyone respect yours?

This is not a decision that is yours to be made. You are not God, you do not say who does and does not enter His Kingdom.

Whether or not you agree with abortion you seem to be lacking empathy, understanding and forgiveness.

Cool, so you can crack on have as many abortions as you like and so long as you repent on your death bed all is forgiven and you enter the kingdom of god but if you've practised safe sex using contraception and by doing so avoided the need for an abortion but omitted to repent this mortal sin before you die you burn in hell for eternity?

I like the way your religion works, seems like a nice caring group to be part of assuming of course the god you've chosen to follow and obey happens to be the the actual one true god rather than one of the thousands of other proclaimed gods. ;)

God's law is God's law. Satan's law is Satan's law.

Those who commit abortion must seek forgiveness now.

I understand entirely what you are saying, but since I don't share your religious beliefs they have no relevance to me. It would be like a Jew telling you not to eat pork because it is goes against their beliefs. I'm is telling you not to act in accordance with your beliefs, I'm just saying your religious beliefs should not be allowed to dictate how anyone else should behave.

If you genuinely seek forgiveness from the bottom of your heart, God will forgive you, and you will enter the everlasting Kingdom.

There is only one God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There are no other gods.

You are entitled to your choice. God gave you this freedom. However, you have made the wrong choice.
