Nope don’t know a thing about him, had a look online there after I posted that, didn’t see any reference to it, maybe I read it on the thread here last year? Or maybe I’m wrong! If so, am more than happy to retract that post.

It's kept very quiet if true. He probably doesn't want to make a big deal about it.

Because he has CF, I'd imagine that even something like a cold could be enough to knock him sideways for a week or two.

When he came back last year he looked weak and caught on his breathing alright.

Bernard didn’t seem to do an awful lot of actual dancing there, and the camera-work was fairly sympathetic. That said, he’s likeable and could improve so I’m sure he’ll last a while

I was just thinking, Bernad's "comedy" is a hindrance to his concentration on the dancing. Gratified when the female judge told him less comedy would be better - words to that effect.
