I had medallions of maple bacon grilled with some cherry tomatoes still on the stalk - grilled and some scrambled egg.

    The rugrats meanwhile wanted pancakes.

This was my (still steaming) creation stack before the chimps tea party was set loose on it.

They're rashers without the fatty bits. Just the oval part of the back bacon.

With my beloved new Kenwood I finally made absolutely perfect and delicious yeast flatbreads. They were soft and chewy and delicious.

    IMG_3157.jpg

And I covered them with my usual weekend breakfast of mashed avocado and fried egg.

If the oat bread that's currently rising turns out well, I'm going to marry the dough hook.

    They are blasphemous rashers!

We have a few South Carolinians staying with us for a while, and they introduced me to sweet corn scrambled eggs for breakfast.

    Not bad at all.

Had a yen for mashed soft boiled eggs, but had no bread on I had a go at microwave proving some dough for flatbreads (turned out pretty well, but a touch denser than I'd have liked (although, that could be because trying to adjust down an american recipe by 66% on the fly is dodgy. What's a third of two thirds of a cup of water?))

That’s what I went for, but it is an inexact science. Nevertheless, it was tasty, which is the main thing.

Baked egg with ham, toast and tea. I baked the egg in the Airfryer for the first time and just need to do it for a couple of minutes less next time.

Boiled egg and a bagel thin. Boiled the egg last night and just reheated it this morning ( mornings are extremely rushed!) had it in work.
