As for tea, my supplies were in my cart. I have some rations and some wine and the mother of all headaches. Let's head after the others." I pass the wineflask to Ekbard.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

The caravan stops when they see Goodie, and behind him BandyLegs, approach.

A man at the front of the caravan holds up his hand and the others stop.

"Hello." he says in a clipped accent. "You are sleeping in the ruins of Jadef, a rough spot. Would you not stay with us for the night?"

Ekbard takes a drink from the wineskin and hands it back, "Sure, if you feel up for the walk and that is what you want to do, lets head in that direction."

"Jadef is the old city you rest beside. Come we will talk in the morning, for now rest."

They are led to the back of the caravan and spend the night in a tent scented with apples. They wake in the morning to a blazing sun.

A member of the caravan pops his head in through the tent's entrance.

"Morning friends, companions of yours may be approaching. Let us all speak."

He closes the tent back over.

Kal trots after Goodie and the rest. 'Companions! Wait up! I've finally figured out where we are!!! Zassan is south west from where we are. I know the area well.'

Othegre spends the night amid the ruins. The ruins have several mosaics depicting the rise and fall of the city over a period of 2,000 years, until it was finally conquered by the Kyrtin empire.

When the morning comes, the sun is blazing hot. Going out in her vampiric state would be bad.

Ekbard on approaching the caravan surveys the caravan like only a lvl 6 fighter would.

Checking out the people present, roughly twenty, Ekbard reckons that should things go south, he could slaughter the entire contingent taking away no more than a few scratches.

Ekbard signals to the closest caravaner, "Ahoy there, our friends came this direction last night, did you happen across them? We got worried when they did not return."

"there you are girl!" Othegre is delighted to be reunited with her wolf who is far more plausibly here than say a certain axe so let's never speak of this again. "Were you in here hiding from the mean old magic man? It's ok it's ok. I think he saved you. I think he saved us all. Theres a lot of competition now for who I kill last! Let's check this place out. The Gigantling went to flag down a caravan, they'll be back by morning.

"Hey guys! Guys? Did the caravan come back?

    Guys?

    Guys?"

Ooc : Going out flushed in that heat and this armour would also be bad. Catch 22.

Othegre spends the day picking at tiles in mosaics, meditating, listening for heartbeats, feeding water to Aria from her waterskin and plotting a new big score.
"Sorry Simon. We're not doing plan A.... No, it'd be stupid.... theyve all gone, what will w- Ok fine but it's pointless."
Oh yeah, and they do a dress rehearsal run through of Plan A. It's surprisingly good.

Bandylegs stirs, stretching his legs and arms, still in amazement at their return.

'Hey! HEY LADDIE! Ye wouldn't have to have some banded mail layin' about would ye laddie? Should ye run inter any trouble, I'll be much handier to ye with some armour. A shield would be nice too if it not be too much trouble.

And have ye got any breakfast?'

Bandylegs rolls to his feet and does some jumping jacks for the first time in years. He stops after 2, panting and wheezing.

'Ugh... if I'm gonna keep this up I'd best give up the ale... LADDIE! Have ye got any cider? The tent smells like ye might!'

Bandylegs wanders out of the tent, famished and looking for his requests.

Ekbard spies Bandylegs exiting the tent ahead. "ahoy bandy"

Bandylegs regards Ekbard with a nod.

'Ahoy! Where did the laddie go? He was fixin' me breakfast with some cider. Ye fancy some? He was also gettin me some armour and a shield.... at least that's what I told him ter do... ye know me, never one to mince me words.'

The caravan leader shouts to BandyLegs and Ekbard. He and the rest of his group are sitting on mats on the ground.

"Breakfast is ready, but no cider my friend". The meat being cooked smells strange.

    Bandylegs frowns.

'No cider? What sorta riff-raff did I fall in with anyways? What about me banded mail lad?'

He wanders over and plops himself down, ignoring the strange looks as he crosses his legs over and back repeatedly.

"Our caravan is bound for Qaban, though we will stop at Fadhem along the way, an isolated hamlet, their shops need restocking.

The meat? Giant scorpion, an acquired taste."

"What sort of supplies are you carrying? A few of my collegues would like to acquire some equipment to make the trip to Zassan, we are quite lost and would love if you point us in the right direction. And we would require some food, water and tea for the journey. Would you be able and prepared to assist us with this request?"

Bandylegs helps himself to a large plate of the meat.

'Pah - dwarves constitutions are particularly strong laddie.'

He starts wolfing down the plate of food, not having eaten in days.

He overhears Ekbard asking about supplies.

'Aye, I asked that bloke there fer some banded mail and he ruddy ignored me! Do ye have anything alcoholic, I'm fierce thirsty!'

"No, and we do not carry armour either. However, all the food and drink, water and juices, you want is yours.

I can give you instructions for reaching Zassan."

He describes the red path below, noting local rock formations that would guide the characters on the correct path. He also points out the holding of the fire dwarves and how to make a detour there, should they require martial supplies.

"Why thank you sir, that is very gracious of you. We will indeed be heading to the fire dwarves then. All we need is water enough not to perish on the way there, we can restock ourselves properly when we get there. Have you any interest in detouring that direction yourselves?"

'No armour, no cider, not even ale? How do you folk live without it? Ne'er mind. Thank'ee fer yer hospitality, but I need to restock mesel'. I'm sure ye understand laddies.'

    He gestures to Ekbard.

'I'll meet ye in the ruins, we should wait till night fall so Othegre can join us.'

He finishes his plate of scorpion, drinks a huge cup of juice and wanders back towards the ruins.
