Bad start and this game is much more open that I thought. If this bet falls at first hurdle then I know what my new years resolution is going to be!

Burnley dc 5/4 Burnley over 1.5 7/2 that pool line up look a bit disjointed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 861 ✭✭✭jbt123

    Burnley Liverpool

No Salah, Firmino or Coutinho starting for the Pool today.

Mane has been in poor form recently but I think he will step up to the mark today. Seemingly he may well start on the right side today where I think he is more effective.

Gonna take a punt on him having 2 shots on target at 2/1 with Ladbrokes.

    Good luck all.

    Very unlucky in the end!

Winner, not a single card in this game. Fancied the under 2.5 @2.50 but decided to play it safer. Happy new year lads

PL league betting is not for the faint hearted this season, very hard to land anything significant. Might just back 2 teams weekly for the World Cup instead - thinking Brazil and France. Anyways all the best for 2018 lads!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,022 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

For those who regularly bet on other leagues, are premiership odds generally poor? Looking at the next round of games, City and Wolves are both playing mid-table sides: City are generally round 1/7, Wolves 4/6...

It's very hard to make anything doing win bets imo when city and the likes are at home or most of the top sides.

you have the likes of plymouth who play bury on saturday, are 5th in the table with good recent form 3/2 v bury who have lost their last 5 without even scoring and are 5 adrift at the bottom.
    plymouth are 13/10
I've been burnt on this kinda bet many times but I'm taking this one and the only negative I see is that bury have won their last 4 h2h yet on top of this it's a 5/6 hour trip to plymouth if that counts for anything.

2 corner bets in the premiership for Jan 2nd

    1st double on skybet @just over 3/1

4+ corners each team Southampton and Crystal Palace
4+ corners each team Swansea and Tottenham

2nd double bet on skybet @1.9

    4+ Tottenham corners
4+ corners each team Southampton and Crystal Palace

    Good luck all!

To take a comparable instance (but less so, if you get me), Spurs are 1/3 to beat West Ham on Thursday night. Are there actual footballing reasons why Plymouth would be significantly less likely to win, or do the odds on premiership matches inevitably get 'sharpened' with so many people betting on them?

I think in these lower divisions the gulf in class between top and bottom teams isn't quite as big and shocks are more likely imo and on top of that I'd be thinking the amount of people betting on them has to be a factor.

Lads anyone know if Kwiff betting is available in Ireland and if not is there any plans to bring it here - I googled it a few weeks ago and said not available in Ireland - just wondering if there is s work around or any plans to bring it here? Thanks

I've no experience with it, but I'd hazard a guess it'd be like BetStars's "Spin & Win" odds boosts, or that the regular odds are crap before you get a lucky quee-I mean kwiff!

Spurs, city and wolves, all win and over 2.5 at 7.3

    Adding napoli win for 12.6

I like Sydney win and over 2.5 at evens in the morning.
