    New thread.

But lets start this one a bit better than we finished the last one.

Not saying there were huge issues but as a reminder:

An occasional not football bet here is no problem, certainly not with special occasions like Olympics or whatever.

Live bets do belong in the live thread here Please use that one.

There is still the football tips for your well researched and or well informed bets you take.

After timing is still a big no-no and i am glad to see it hardly ever happens. There is only 1 place to after time and that is here

After timing: So if we post a bet which comes in, does it mean that its forbidden to quote and acknowledge that the bet has won?

No problem with quoting a winning tip you posted. That is not after timing. Do it quite a lot myself.

Also dont really care if you quote someone's tip and say you followed although personally i think thanking that tip is enough

It is claiming today you had Unal of Twente to score a hat trick yesterday and it won and you cant/dont want to provide proof, which is after timing.

Re kjartansson at from the old thread...

Couldnt believe he is only @1.66 to score anytime... taking cibicki instead at @5.0 as he has form and while malmo should win, they may also concede.
Also on prodell at @2.1 in the other Swedish match

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,482 ✭✭✭Hollister11

The best after timing I ever saw on thus thread us when someone had Chelsea to beat manu 3-0 with eto to score a hatrick

Obviously no one believed him as he hadn't posted it, then he showed his bet slip.

Gala playing in front of an empty stadium. What were their naughty fans up to?

V soft peno given against Valencia too.

Anyone watching this nonsense in the Dortmund game? It's horrible to watch. Absolutely dominating them but such a bit of ****ing about and trying to walk the ball in. And quite obviously a tactic that they don't want corners this year.....seen it a couple of times they bust an absolute gut to prevent a corner.

Posting in case I forget next weekend.
I like the look of over 2.5 in the Las Palmas Granada game next week at 5/4.
6 goals in the Las Palmas game tonight, with their new striker grabbing two.
Watched the Granada game at the weekend and was end to end in the 2nd half, should've been more goals than the 2 it finished with.
And there was 5 goals in each of the games last season.
Small nibble on over 3.5 and 4.5 too.

If you are looking into card bets for the Dutch league, this week's refs

It is the official list form the Dutch FA but subject to change of course if one or two break their neck or something. And the times are Dutch time.

Anyone else think Legia are a good price at 2/5 tonight? Dundalk are going to have to come at them at some stage, and Legia looked like they had much more of a goal threat last week. Plus they are going to be playing in a very hostile atmosphere.

Will wait to see what teams the Prem teams put out in the Cup, but Legia will definitely be going into any double/treble i do. They are 11/10 minus 1 as well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭Rasputin11

I had high hopes for the cards in the Roma and Monaco games tonight but the 2 refs appointed have put me completely off. PP has the odds up for the cards if anyone is interested.

Hapoel Beer Sheva v Celtic - Total Match Goals Over 5.5 @ 9.00.

Over 3.5 or 4.5 would be the more sensible option however.

(If the wind blows the right way) perhaps a C.S. of Celtic 3-2 or even 4-3.

Taking the Ladbrokes Price Boost of Evens on Chelsea, Everton and 'Pool.

Mike Dean has really been enforcing the new rules and giving penalties in the premier league - Two last weekend and one the weekend before.

He's just been announced for Crystal Palace v Bournemouth this weekend. It's not a fixture that I would associate with penalties typically, however both are surely desperate for a win given current form. Mike being in charge is enough to get me on board to give it a shot.

Crystal Palace v Bournemouth - Penalty in match: yes @5.50 on Betfair sportsbook

Read somewhere he's given 16 since the start of last season. We'll worth backing him to give a pen every week

No good. One shot on target in first half. Can see Moyes getting Sunderland relegated this year.
