Since when has a lovely meal out meant 'bring 12 month Oisin and 21 month Saoirse in their prams'? I have realised that I sound so much like an ould man but out for a meal with my mother earlier and the amount of children wreacking havoc in an all ready busy spot was ridiculous. Back in the day a restaurant was exclusively for Mammy and Daddy. Now its all about insta hits :D

It doesn't annoy me but there's always mothers with young kids in my local Costa. I guess it's a place to flop down mid-morning after you've done your shopping...

Something that does TA me though is when you spend five minutes flicking through Sky Q menu for something to leave on in the background when you're emptying the dishwasher, and it cuts to a break after five seconds.

Trying to get a space in the local shopping center earlier, place was absolutely mental busy and getting parking was a nightmare.
We were crawling along when a space became available, so we stopped to let the vacating car exit the space.
Next thing a Jeep flew across two lanes to block the vacating car the lady passenger got out and STOOD IN THE SPACE!!!!!!
My friend put her head out the window to see wtf was going on and lady passenger was like ‘Sorry I’m reserving this space for my husand’ as she stood there with her arms outstretched.

I couldn’t believe the cheek of it. There was a long line of cars behind us also looking for a space, and the Jeep basically skipped the whole queue with the wife helpfully ‘reserving the space’ while the husband attempted maneuver around all the cars they had just passed out.

    Worst manners ever!!!
I'd have just edged forward enough to block the Jeep, then settled down on my phone to wait it out for as long as it took.
Probably trivially annoying, but earlier I went to Lidl and somebody had parked in the pedestrian entrance. I could barely get in, and if I were a nasty person, I might have keyed the car. I didn't. And there were loads of other parking places.
Took my elderly dad for drinks Xmas Eve. He has dementia and is using a walker. But he tries to get around as much as he can.

So we make it across the car park - big deal for him - and there's a car in the space in front of the slope. Parked on a giant F***KING white cross and in front of a No Parking sign.

I asked them to move as my dad couldn't make it up the step and got told to "do one fatty'.

If there was such a thing as a sponsored swear I would alleviate poverty.

What gives these selfish dicks the right to behave like that ????

Name and shame on this thread or any of the Facebook pages for the same purpose - it's an easy way to hit back.

That's just the fear, the guilt and the sadness.
    AKA, a hangover.
    Sometimes accompanied by the sickness.

Preparing myself to do battle with my CF clinic in Cork tomorrow. I told them well over a month before I was leaving that I needed a transfer letter to join a CF clinic in the UK. They kept telling me they'd started it and that it was ready to print off and then when I tried to pick it up they gave me some excuse about the typist already being on her Christmas holidays so they'd scan it in and email it to me in the New Year. Let's see what the excuse will be tomorrow. I don't know what the story is with them. When I moved to Dublin they tried to block me going to St Vincent's CF clinic for about six months by just delaying my transfer letter. Having CF is enough of a balls, but actually the amount of chasing GPs, pharmacies and hospitals that I have to do is a job in itself. I feel really uneasy being in the UK and not having access to a GP or a CF clinic right now, I just need the safety net in case I get ill and I'll need to refill my prescriptions soon.
