Othegre sees the fountain. It's gross. She examines it in greater detail

A huge gelatinous mass fills the corridor to Ekbard's east. Within it are thousands of tiny balls holding a silver fluid.

A small face emerges out of the see-through mass and begins to sing a high pitched song.

Inside its body is a room with a magic tome, the spheres floating and a sword that looks to have incredible magic power. The jelly that forms its body continues down a pit in the middle of the room and up a hole in the ceiling.

Seeing Ekbard it sings louder.

Standing beneath it is Askit who turns.

"Oh you. The impulsive one. Isn't it beautiful. Come, don't fight, just enter her mass and be happy."

Othegre, you might cover the rear, Xanthea is hurt and we should protect her. Moy and I will follow behind Goodie and Saeros can watch our backs beside Xanthea. We need to catch up to Ekbard.'
