    Have 2 ft’s this week. Fairly happy with that so thinking maybe Kenny from Everton in (cheap and plays) or else move Elliot on for Speroni or Hennessy. Any thoughts?

    Personally would be looking to move on Jesus. The rotation is too big a headache for the funds invested.

    Morata or Firmino the contenders, both with tasty fixtures. Firmino should be nice and fresh.

    Will probably move Vardy on. He's just blanking far too often. Not sure who to get in yet. Firmino looks like the best bet in that price range. Austin maybe? Giroud? They might see a good bit of rotation though.

    I fancy Firmino short term for some returns. Giroud could also be worth a punt with Laca out but it's not 100% he starts, they could use Welbeck. Depends how punty you're feeling, if the rest of your squad is robust it could be a great move, Giroud has great returns when given minutes historically.

    Longer term I'm not sure I've ever been interested in strikers in that range however for most of this season. Just think you get way better value for that amount in midfield.

    Would you at all be interested in going with a cheaper striker and beefing up your midfield? 3-5-2 seems to be in vogue at the moment and would be my choice if I was using a wildy right now

    Any United fans want to give their opinion on Smalling? How has he been playing these last 2 months? How has he been historically playing back to back matches?

    Is he the safest United cleany option outside of Valencia and DDG? Anything to be said against Dann out for Smalling?

    He has done nothing majorly wrong and with Bailly out he will still see plenty pg game time
    However Lindelof has been much improved and Rojo and jones are back. He was firmly behind those 2 in the pecking order for the last year.......and there isnt many upcoming games which will justify 3 centre backs being played either. It's making me wonder whether ill bother with jones either. Ill soon have enough cash for DDG .....

    Yeah I have enough for DDG but the plan was to go for Courtois long haul. It would take quite a few changes to go Courtois to DDG and Dann to Christensen. The latter does seem the better and safer option.

    Other option is to avoid United defenders altogether but that seems very risky, they have a nice little run.

    May well bank this week as Dann has a nice-ish fixture and then can maybe bring in DDG and Christensen next week. Christy seems relatively nailed on now right?

    Honestly with that midfield you can afford a 3rd striker who just sits on the bench.

    Getting Hazard in would be my priority, it's a very very strong team but lacks Hazard with the form he's in. I would agree with the advice the other poster gave you 100%.

    I would much prefer Hazard and a dud to Shaquiri and Vardy. The latter essentially forces you to perma-bench Surman who seems to be giving very solid returns

    Cheers -

    Vardy has been bugging me for a while - deffo not the same FPL asset he was a couple of years ago.

    Might sign Crouchy for the craic - he can keep Moreno company on the bench over the Xmas

    Elliott Out Lossl In
    Hunemeir Out Klaven In

    Leaves me with:

    Lossl Speroni

    Klavan Duffy Naughton Otamendi Tarkowski

    Salah Sane Grob Doucoure Loftus-Cheek

    Kane Kun Morata

    All starters bar possibly Speroni

    I'm thinking of morata to firmino it will free up money for me to allow me to get kolasanic at the weekend. I now have hazard and would capt him over morata. Im thinking there is a fair chance morata doesn't start tomorrow either.

    No city coverage then going forward would that not be a mojor concern?

    Christy is as nailed as the rest of them......Conte said a fe need a rest so he may miss one game imo

    Im stumped what to do with Ramsey. Shaqiri would free up funds but Stoke are awful. Son would require a minus 4

    Jumped the gun early in Sunday and horsed out Rom and Alonso for Kane and Robertson,now Rambo and Sakho r on the injured list

    Still a good move to get Kane in for lukaku imo
    Robertson would not have been my choice however

    Just pulled the trigger on Vardy & Ramsey out for Hazard & Crouch.

    Could still be a total snafu of a GW....Moreno still on my roster, Kiko looking doubtful, and rotation/rest fears over Morata and Richarlison.

    Now have a massive captain selection headache as well....Hazard, Kane, Salah and Coutinho all strong options.

    Crouch and Surman could yet be unlikely heroes

    A - Wilson to DCL(upgrade Richie at wkd)
    B - Wilson to Austin
    C - Morata to Firmino and A or B for -4 and use funds to do Richie to Son/Mahrez at wkd

    B
    Richie to Demeri gray at weekend then if you wanted

    Would need to see whole midfield though

    Strongly considering a Morata and Naughton to Firmino and Valencia also. But is it worth 4 points?

    Morata has a good run of fixtures coming up.

    I'm considering
    Trippier --> Kenny
    Ramsey ---> Doucoure
    Niasse --> Firminho

    For a 4 point hit.
    0.7 still in the bank with Doucoure.
    Might get Shaq either for 0 in the bank in which case it looks like I'd have to pull the trigger tonight as he's looking like rising overnight.

    Leaves me with Kane, Morata and Firmino up front

    Strongly thinking of activating my free hit this game week, I take it your transfers still have to be within the 100 mil max value?

    Thanks for that. I agree that the best value for money seems to lie in midfield. My front 8 looks like this atm:

    Silva Salah Groß Hazard Richarlison
    Vardy Kane Calvert-Lewin

    Week to week I'll end up benching one of Groß or DCL (or both if my defenders fixtures are good). It's a strategy that seems to be working ok so far, but inevitably points will be left on the bench some weeks. I have 0.8 in the bank so there's not much for upgrading Vardy to Morata, unless I downgrade one or two defenders. I think Groß has to go too. He's been a bit underwhelming lately.

    Salah/Sterling/Hazard/Richie/TPT

    Was looking for some Leicester coverage but had been looking at Albrighton as he seems nailed on

    Yeah he is a better shout actually
    If TPT is to remain as your 5th mid is defo go with Austin instead of DCL
    If you can ever spare a transfer maybe “upgrade” him to RLC
    Nice fixtures and almost scored again at weekend
    He is someone I’ll be starting over Xmas .Probabky the weeks Austin has poor fixtures back to back .
    I have zaha at the moment too but I’ll be moving him on for Shaq most Likely although albrighton indeed could also be an option for me . Free up cash go get DDG
    Food for thought

    Change.

    Trippier --> Ogbonna

    Probably more nailed on that Kenny especially with an extra days rest. Then there's the bonus of a DGW coming up too. Only problem is it's Arsenal this week.

    Should I sell Ageuro and buy Kane?

    Probably.* You just don't know how much gametime, if any, Kun will get because of Pep's rotation policy. At least Kane will likely play most of the time.

    *Watch Kun score 4 against Swansea now.
    ** Also Kane will have a blank GW21 & a double GW22.

    Looking to make an upgrade in the defence,

    Have: Duffy, Daniels, Kola, Rosenior, and Naughton.

    Have 1.6 ITB

    A West Ham defender is tempting at the moment unless I can be persuaded otherwise

    I think people are getting carried away tbh
    They were utter utter poison until the last 2 weeks and I don’t see Moyes completely changing that
    Yes they have a DGW but they also have a blank the week before when assuming you have Kane you are already a player down at the busiest time of the season

    No transfer made yet. Worried about my defence : Trippier (Aurier prob starts), Jones(he's Jones), Mee (may not start). Sub defs are Mariappa and Dunk

    Strong rumours Morata is out now so that’s made my decision a lot easier.

    Did Daniels to Kenny last night.

    Thinking of Lowton to Ogbonna now.

    My defense is just getting cheaper and cheaper. PLus I kept keeping Lowton cause I kept feeling like he was gonna come back, but now their fixtures are about to turn, I just feel there is no point anymore. I'll keep my value made on him and buh-bye

    Both are free transfers

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    Daniels -> Kenny
    Ramsey -> Coutinho

    -4

    Momentarily considered just Ramsey -> Siggy without a hit but not being on Penalties like at Swansea put a stop to that.

    Still have Speroni/Elliott, have 2 flags on Mee and Femeina and that's before we get to Gomez and the talk of rests for Morata and Richarlison. On and 2 hits the last 2 weeks.

    Heading into week 4 of my wildcard team :pac:

    @ColmVHayes: @thestatszone Alvaro Morata (over 34k transfers in) ruled out for #GW17 - 'bit tired and has a back problem' #FPL #HUDCHE http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2017/12/conte--morata-out-but-drinkwater-returns.html

    Already made my transfers and wouldn't have sold him anyway but annoying nonetheless
    Now have to decide whether to go with double palace miss or Ricky and mariappa who play palace !!!! Chances are all 4 will play as I also have Bavies
    This won't end well !
    Really need mee to play now . Benches will be tested severely which will hopefully be in my favour

    I don't even know who I would want to get in for Morata - 11m to spend on a striker - Austin maybe - but only got rid of him last GW.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,816 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

    getting tempted by bringing in Aguero and downgrading to Pickford - would be -8 though. having not got any minutes on Sunday you'd have to think Aguero will start v Swansea - that that could be city goal fest.

    Brought Lukaku in for Morata despite him looking like he's forgot how to kick a ball recently. At least he'll play 90 minutes every game.
