Lashing rain here in North County Dublin + not even a but of frost. Met Eireann are a joke with their weather warnings. It was the same with storm Ophelia. Yes it was bad in parts of country but not Dublin. Maybe they need to start doing two weather reports. One for Dublin + another for rest of the country.

Hardly going to have frost if lashing rain! Wasn't the general consensus that on shore breeze would scupper Dublins chances.??

That's unfair really, they did the right call with Ophelia, people lost their lives while out in it

Dublin wasn't included in the warning

Last I saw was a yellow warning for Dublin ( rain sleet with a risk of snow ), did they escalate this?

Beautiful light snow here, almost dead calm, not really heavy enough to accumulate ( maybe 2 cm at most ) but not melting either

Heavy snow here in KK city. Sticking. What a nice sight :)

Kilkenny city, USA? :D:D It was hoarfrost on the northside till it started snowing a bit more ten minutes ago. Not even one proper cm here yet but it is beginning to come down nicely with big fat flakes.

Unfortunately we're right on the margins between rain/snow here in Kinnegad and looks like rain won out.

Was snowing when called it a night at about 230am and lightly snowing now but obviously rained because just a dusting of snow on ground.

Rain/sleet in North Wicklow @ 200m asl. Can't win them all.

Will be interested to see what height the snow line is at though.
