"Rend my belly sideways with a pickaxe! Is that...? It is...! No one paints him like that! This is so old-school!"
    Othonos pauses.

"You know his real name, true worshippers from afar. Did your lands possess churches in the old style?"

Goodie can read Othonos's thoughts. He worships Soet as a God of the Apocalypse to come.

Bandylegs shakes his fists in anger at the sudden departure of the cleric.

'Pah, altar. What's so special about the altar.'

He storms down the church towards the altar to examine it
OOC: Sorry for the confusion, I only saw your post there, so I've edited what's happening.

'Aye. I know him. Ye should know a dwarf can read the stone of the buildings from years ago. What's behind your magick door high cleric?'

"The one beyond the Nathex? It leads outside to the canyon top. We seal it so none can enter this church, save the worthy. Which I understand you are now."

'Aye, I tried to tell ye I was worthy before but ye wouldn't tell me the truth. Can ye open it? Tell me, cleric. I think I know the answer. Is Thumuz still alive?'

"No, he died long ago. His brother built this place, but he had vision where Tumuz did not. When Tumuz saw the secret of this place he attacked his brother and was killed. He is buried in a crypt below."

"Please follow me if you wish to see the Church's secret"

He walks up to the altar, presses something beneath it and another door opens in the wall behind it, he enters quickly.

    Othegre follows too

Othegra, BandyLegs, Ekbard and Betty enter the room.

Othonos flicks a switch and the doors lock.

"Feed lord Soet feed!!!" he shouts.

The floor swings open, a trap door and everybody falls twenty foot into a pool of green slime.

"At last, heroes for you to feed on, I love you my god, I love you"

Othonos purposefully drowns himself in the slime.

Bandylegs looks around and tries to get his bearings of the room he has dropped into.

The room is roughly a square. There are four panels, one in each walls. They seem to be doors which look like they can be forced open.

The pencil speaks to Othegre psychically.

"Please do not make me drink this stuff or him"

'Ekbard, have you a torch? There are panels on each of the walls. I think we can force them open. Be careful though.'

Edbard stands on top of othonos after he has succumbed to the slime.

Ooc can we Wade? Walk? Swim? Are we in the slime? Is Ekbard still protected (if this is Soet rather than a random jelly)

Bandylegs wades through the slime carefully and prods one of panels with his sword

Ekbard picks a door and rams at it with full force.

Ooc. Oops deleted that post as I realised he'd thrown himself in.

    "You can talk!

    Can you fly?"

BandyLegs, Betty and Othegre are covered in the green goop up to their necks. The goop however always stays a centimeter from Ekbards skin, hence he can walk freely in it.

OOC: Can I do this then?
OOC: It's no problem, just give me a direction for the panel.
