John wick is brilliant, the nightclub scene is class. Hope they add John Wick 2.

You are in for a treat when they do, John Wick 2 is even better. Pure class.

I'd say they're 'limited' until they're not; if either show generates enough success and praise, Netflix will absolutely bankroll a follow-up. I think Stranger Things was initially just a mini/limited series until word of mouth did its thing.

Yeah probably true to some extent but Stranger Things clearly ended setting up a follow up to some degree, Alias Grace was a straight adaptation of a book which didn't leave anywhere for the story to go really. I'm not far into Godless yet so can't comment there.

3 episodes into Dark at the moment. Was enjoying it but have the feeling it's going to spiral into total silliness before long.

    Been watching Mars recently.
Fact meets fiction in this docudrama chronicling the journey of a spacecraft crew as it embarks in 2033 on a mission to colonize the red planet.

Have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's this documentary about humans going to Mars mixed in with a fiction story set in 2033 & beyond of humans colonizing the planet and the issues they face.

The 2016 segments are the documentary, in which they have talking heads from scientists and well-known figures - Elon Musk, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Andy Weir (author of the 'Martian'), and the 2033 segments are the fiction.

Second season of Easy is live since last week. I enjoyed the first season, it's an easy watch :pac:. 8 episodes pretty much unrelated about relationships. Watched the first 2 of the second season. Doesn't seem as good as the first season, but I'll give it a few more as it's short and sweet.

    Needed a third option.

Haha there is some manure in there for sure, but it's a mixed bag in that all the episodes are separate and I thought some of them were really good and thought provoking. Drama I guess. Hipster drama.

Godless is pretty poor truth be told. Expected an awful lot more. Ridiculously slow moving and already struggling with it after 4 episodes.

Finished the last episode of Mars. Utterly utterly wonderful. The intimate view of SpaceX and NASA are so good. If you've an interest in space, check it out. Only 6 episodes in Season One.

Thought I was the only 1. I didn't make it through the first one. Painfully slow.

With cinematography as beautiful as the first 3 episodes I've seen of Godless, it can go at whatever pace it pleases. I've criticised Netflix's shows before for having pacing issues, but here the languid, sprawling pace only enhances or compliments the equally sprawling vistas of the great American frontier.

The last episode. Sweet mother of God, what a complete ****fest.

You can get enough cinematography in a 2 hour movie, which is what godless was originally scripted as.

I’m watching love & friendship based on an early epistolary novel by Austen. Although the humour is very modern (and seems like black adder in some parts) it’s supposedly faithful enough to the book. She was pretty biting.

Partially filmed at howth castle. Looks great.

Having been making my through Don't Trust the Bitch In Apt 23 thanks a recommendation I saw here (sorry I can't remember who it was) and I am loving it. The cast are clearly having so much fun, James Van Der Beek is hilarious, it's infectious. Would definitely recommend it.

If they can get the cast together I think Netflix should fund season 3. It’s trending most of the time.

Can't imagine they would. She's probably kept busy as Jessica Jones

I tried watching it when it was originally on National Geographic and despite loving the topic, the show didn't grab me and only watched 2 episodes.

The first 2 episodes are a bit tough, admittedly. It feels like a bit of a circle jerk for SpaceX and Elon Musk and the cuts between the fiction and documentary are a bit jarring, but it does get better after that.
