Dominos, Apache, Four Star, etc. are all muck. Best pizza is usually from independent pizzarias IMO

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 31,152 ✭✭✭✭KERSPLAT!

And pineapple on a pizza! Goway outta that!

Once it has the meat of a wide variety of rare endangered species pilled up on top of some bread and cheese I'm all good.

The more endangered the animal, the tastier the pizza. :D

yeah I usually go to the artisan organic one, but then I pull my head out of my ar$e and order Dominos

The local does pizza and a pint for a tenner. The more pints you have the better the pizza tastes.

Pizza is muck. Give me a nice kebab or some or a snackbox with curry cheese chips instead.

Dough Brothers in Galway is amazing. I had a jerk chicken pizza with fresh pineapple. It completely changed my view of pineapple on pizza.

Also a fan of Milano pizzas (Romano bases).

Finally, our local chipper Macaris in Ratoath does great pizzas.

I don't care what anyone says pineapple pizza is simply the best and I like my pizza ideally cooked the proper Italian way stone baked over a fire.

Ask a proper Italian to put pineapple on your pizza and you'll end up swimming with the anchovies!

You got in just before me! I love goats cheese with balsamic drizzle. When hungover I concur nothing beats pepperoni.

Homemade pizza is my favourite. But it always ends up more square than round. And I also like pineapple on my pizza!

Independent Pizza Co. in Drumcondra, and Eco in Gorey are the two best I've had in Ireland.

I'd say the arse would be in tatters the following day after eating 17 pizzas, a kebab on the way home and a hangover to boot.

Cheese, spinach and garlic from the pizza place attached to Monroe's Tavern in Galway..just lovely with pints...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,691 ✭✭✭Lia_lia

The pizza served in the Franciscan Well pub in Cork city. I don't enjoy other pizzas now because these ones can't be beaten!

Ask a proper Italian to put pineapple on your pizza and you'll end up swimming with the anchovies!

    Same for chicken.

I love eating chicken but chicken on a pizza is 100% wrong.

    As for my favourite pizza.

Gotta be Diavola in proper Italian restaurant.

Campo de Fiori in Bray does a great genuine Italian pizza.

If i'm ordering then I go for Domino's Pizza. I usually eat at Papa John's or Apache's Pizza if i'm on a night out in City Centre. Used to go to Pizza Hut for a proper meal though but that place is closed now.

    Favorite Pizza would Pepperoni Pizza.

Diablo from Ciao on Bath Avenue. Pepperoni, chorizo, mixed chilli's and garlic oil on a romano base wood fired. Won't be beaten.

    Delivery: Dominos Hot & Spicy
Supermarket: Goodfellas Mighty Meaty or Lidl's picante (very hard to get nowadays)

    Love making my own though.

Was just gonna say that. No chicken, no pineapple.

My favourite is a plain old Margherita. If the base ingredients are good there's nothing else you need on there. Perhaps with a sprinkle of chilli infused olive oil.
