Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Couldn't find any team news, Ireland ten points down from the first match, don't think a deficit that big has been overturned before, throws in at 8:45 our time.

Extremely sparse looking crowd. What is it over there, Saturday night or Friday night?

    Sat night

    Far from a sellout.

Unlike the spin being spun by RTE and the organisers during the week. There is no interest in this from the public

Reading the aussie rules forums, most seem to have really enjoyed last week's game, and are looking forward to this one.

Probably charging extortionate prices rarely sell out grounds anywhere in Australia unless it's a grand final in league or afl

Brilliant from Brennan but Darren Hughes has made a huge difference.

    Great start

Could be 6/7 goals in it for us

    What a start!

Aussies getting torn to shreds now.

Garry Brennan setting up Chris Barrett for the goal.

    13-1 Ireland now.

It's the kind of thing you only go to once.

Most of the GAA supporting Irish in Perth have probably done that already over the last few years

Aussies look to have woken up a bit since the 2nd goal but still 13-4

Ireland to win the series 11/2 looks good now

Eddie Betts robbed there. Looked clearly over.

This is far more exciting that most inter county games last year.

Well that's because it's a load of contrived tosh.

And I'm a lover of both Gaelic football and Aussie Rules.

Ref dogged Ireland there. Definite push in the back and an early whistle as well.

Tough on Ireland to only be 17-11 up.

Referee is diabolical . Morgan tackled with no ball from behind . Push in the back .
    Crazy from the ref .

Aussie ref not even trying to hide his bias
