I took some time out recently to catch up on some youtube hunting videos. I noticed that there are a small few in North America who still hunt with a Bow and Arrow. Like these guys for example.

What I don't understand is how a moose or bear can be killed with an arrow. Are the arrow heads containing poison or something? Another video I watch, a guy took down a grizzly bear with an arrow to the head.

No they are not using poison, they are just well placed shots, good broadheads and a decent bow. 40Lb+ is big enough to take down these large animals, but some hunters are using 60-70lb draw strength.

Its illegal to hunt in Ireland with bow and arrow and irrelevant to the forum.
