You need to get some anti-virals and before Friday. Is there any way you could try and expedite your GP visit?

Got told that trousers really suit me and I should wear them more often.

Panic ensued as I thought my dress must be up my hole.

It wasn't. Don't know what planet the nice lady was on. I don't wear trousers!

No, it was the wi fi on my modem. I have it fixed now :)

TA loads to do and not enough time to even think about any of it.

    Exam in college tonight :(
Also, I hate going to a different doctor, my GP gets me and knows all my stories - although I know obviously when you're sick, it's not the top priority.

TA'd that my GP is really rude and condascending but I can hardly lodge a complaint against him for that. TA'd that I should switch GP's but it's a load of hassle.

When people add "and everything " to their sentences

Oh they had burgers and everything

There were fireworks and everything .

Was there a dinosaur ? A one armed astronaut? No? Well then there wasn't ****king everything!!

So so massively TA'd by EXCEL and how utterly soul-destroyingly painfully deathfully confusing and upsetting and mathematical it is and how I've gotten to the age of 32 without understanding any of this shyte.

Who knew constructing Excel fcuking formulas was a vital bloody life skill? What is this sh1t? I've been staring at a neverending page of cells and columns and mathematical equations for two hours and my eyes are almost bleeding and I want to throw myself out the window.

    I HATE EXCEL

Last night I ordered a pizza.
Saw that my phone had died so plugged it in to charge and switched in it.
Almost an hour later, no sign of pizza.
Turns out I never entered the PIN so the SIM card never unlocked
Had three voicemail messages from the delivery guy half an hour previously.
Pizza back at Dominos and that branch now closed.

    FFS!!!!

Had a huge craving for Galaxy Caramel all week but was trying to be good so didn't give in and buy any.

Other half comes home this evening with a bar (I never told him I'd been craving it; he just decided to buy himself a bar), offers me some, I refuse politely and then I nearly scream in horror as HE TAKES A HUGE BITE of the chocolate, chomps it and swallows it.

YOU DON'T DO THAT WITH GALAXY CARAMEL!

You let the chocolate melt on your tongue, then the caramel oozes out and coats your whole mouth!
    EVERYONE knows that!!

Poor grammar is annoying, and usually I can get over it. But there are two really common errors in Ireland specifically that are so widespread it's like every English teacher just gave up trying to change it.

    1. Apostrophes are for possession.
    2. It's BEING, not BEEN!

    /endrant

Oh, no, it also annoys me that because grammar-naziism is now a hate crime, these sort of threads are the only legitimate places to air this gripe other than talking to myself.

Have you tried watching youtube videos on it? Sometimes they’re really long-winded and utterly boring, but it might help.

TA that I washed my hair today and then it started raining so I didn’t go into town. Now i’ll have to go tomorrow with will then be yesterday’s hair and look like a mingbag.

No, never looked them up on YouTube because I didn’t realize how TA’d they made me til I saw that post!
Would you just not wash your hair again in the morning? :)
I’m TA that I finally got snug in bed and warmed up my icebergs of feet only to just have felt the smallest, tiniest, most distant urge to pee :(

Had a great big family event there. An occasion where everyone is in the same room together which never happens. It went great.

TA is that it is over. These types of days which you think will occur forever when you are younger are becoming fewer and farther between. People are getting older, some quicker than others. :(

    Existential crisis incoming.

    I'm not sure what I am .
    I don't know why I love it.

the best tip I have on it is to use loads of separate spreed sheets in the same work book. then have the first page for inputs and common used values that will be used regularly. use each spreadsheet to work these things out and link .

a lot of people run a cropper when they type in common values(like vat rates etc) instead of linking to them. they then forget to change one or mis type it and the whole thing is screwed up

you tube is great if the uploader is in the same job as you and everything they are doing fits perfectly.

its very hard to take out part of it to use in a completely other sector

the excel forum is a better recourse to help you
