During the August Bank Holiday weekend in 1997 we went to Curracloe in Wexford with a tent that was the size of a Londis. Saving Private Ryan was being filmed on the beach that summer but hopes of seeing Tom Hanks or Steven Spielberg were dashed as the sets were all but dismantled and access was strictly verboten. Needless to say, staying in a tent with my family at 16 years of age was pretty dull and boring. One thing kept me sane. It was the August 1996 edition of Empire Magazine which we had in a pile of magazines we had brought along to alleviate the boredom. Tom Cruise was on the cover promoting Mission:Impossible. Curiously he was sans his s*it eating grin.

Yet The Cruiser wasn't what drew my curiosity or my burgeoning hormonal urges. It was the bottom left hand corner. It was a snippet about the Cannes Film Festival with two pictures of some lovely ladies. One in particular caught my attention. She was a gorgeous yet trashy looking blonde, with gloriously tanned body in a skimpy white dress, if you could call it a 'dress'. She was bending over in a sultry pose for photographers *almost* exposing her left boob. Golden. Nothing was a bigger turn on for me than *almost*. It left much to the imagination without being gratuitous. The feature itself inside was tame enough and frustratingly didn't feature this lovely lady.

Yet I still had that corner. Unfortunately and even more frustratingly I saw it on the Saturday as we drove to Curracloe. I was bored stiff (literally) that whole weekend bursting to relive myself so to speak. Come the Monday (pardon the pun), it lashed rain and we took down that sh*tty tent in lashing rain getting absolutely soaked. That helped quell my urges for a time. Having finally made it home, and with my balls themselves the size of a Spar shop, I took the August 1996 edition of Empire magazine, went to the privacy of the toilet and with laser like focus on the bottom left hand corner had one of the best faps I've ever had.
