    Yes, and while centred on the elbow it's a real pain in the butt.

    One more along the same lines.

    What's "Trichoptilosis"? Srameen, you've 6 seconds. :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 32,688 ✭✭✭✭ytpe2r5bxkn0c1

    Give me a chance. I don't live on Boards. ;

    I don't know.

    Tricho refers to hair and ptilosis is used in ornithology to mean an arrangement of feathers. Balding, perhaps?? Or a feather head. :)

    I'm delighted I got to as close as "not quite".

    That's your big head (all those brains needs a suitable vessel) - for your thinking cap, I suggest going up a size. :)

    is it something unlikely to be taken seriously by medical people? ( such as suffering from split ends or dandruff?)

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 79,551 Mod ✭✭✭✭New Home

    Like, yes, it's so, like tragic and stuff?

    ask another New Home I said that as a joke. Never expected it to be right.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 79,551 Mod ✭✭✭✭New Home

    Oh, all right, I will - but only if you ask one for me if I get stuck. :)

    What's onychophagia?

    (Srameen, you've 8 seconds for this one - it's easier but you said you don't live on Boards so I'm giving you the time to log in. :D)

    Purely from onycho being nails and phagia relates to eating I assume biting nails, but I'd never heard the term before.
