    Zürich HB.

Edit. I assumed the question was based on the number of train.

Gare du Nora Paris if by passengers

I was basing it on passengers so Gare du Nord it is.

What's wrong with pointing out that Barrack Obama was the first black president of the USA? A job he did with dignity, competence, poise and diplomacy, unlike some we could mention!

However I guess that is not the answer, so I have no idea!

Agreed, but would I go for the obvious.

The selected individuals are very particular anyway.

Ah read it wrong! Obama got it in his first year. Was he the only one?

    Not that, no.

Terry Pratchett's and I assume it had something to do with the song "don't fear the reaper" .

And all that is a guess based on translation of the motto and the reference to Terry Pritchett above. I know his name but nothing else about him and have never read him.

Correct author but no bonus point. Death was a constant character in Pratchetts books (missing only from one) - hence the reference.

Teddy was the last one to go into battle at the head of troops in a cavalry charge.

No. It's as Corkgirl thought and Nobel connected.

Going back to when I said some of the awards were questionable..

Is it something to do with the winners all being involved in war except Carter?

No, you were closer earlier. It's a matter of timing!

Obama was the only one so awarded while in office as president.

I know Carter got it way after he was president.
Obama definitely got it in term and presuming the others did too.
Carter was the only one who got it after he finished his term?

That's it. They are the only US Presidents to win it and all were in office at the time bar Jimmy Carter.

Srameen is either very busy or devising a particularly devious question. Let me throw one in to keep the show on the road.

What was Dan McGrew's last hand?

I was waiting to see if my answer was right, as it had been a guess. I didn't cop that Corkgirl was the question setter. Apologies. I'll think of a question.

I recall Dangerous Dan McGrew but all I can remember is he was "playing a solo game". No idea what his hand was though.

You have 90% of the answer. As Corkgirl might say - "Dowcha boy" :D. All that remains is the hand (or, more correctly, the bid).
