The Aldi Halloween ad. The new meteor/eir "anything you can do I can do better" ad. Both absolutely painful.

That last one is only made bearable by a brief glimpse of Panti.

The short form once with the "daddy got me a guitar and a laptop and I"m a YouTube star" has to die. Slowly.

I hope the pros outweigh the cons, otherwise you might have a situation like that episode of Friends where Ross made the list about Rachel :o

They definitely do and actually he saw the funny side of it - must add sense of humour to the list, or just stop with the lists!

TA I normally get a seat on the way to work because I am late and there aren't many people about. Today I went out of my way to be on time and was rewarded for my efforts - by having to stand on a packed luas.

Reminded me there - Friday, someone stood for me on the LUAS and I can't work out whether I'm old and he was being respectful or thinks I'm pregnant cos am fat!

That sh*te of all sh*teology show Blind Date. I thought it was a windup, it was so cringeworthy. And then at the end when your one was a bit taller than your man, the presenter had the feckin cheek to take her heels off. What kind of message is that sending to tall women? God if they did something like that to a fat bird there'd be uproar. I'm seeing a guy shorter than me and neither of us really care what other people think. I just can't believe someone would be that shallow. If a guy can't hack being with a tall woman that's his problem.

Was it just me or was he not even that short? I thought they were trying to squeeze humour out of that one far too much.

I'm TA'd that intelligent contributors to this thread would even consider watching stuff like blind date or whatever, never mind actually watching it. :D

I call those programmes "car crash tv", except that I mean I'd rather be involved in a car crash than watch them

I woke up this morning in a weird mood. I'm not in the mood to anything at all today.

    Nothing.

I'm struggling to get work (which needs to be done!) done, struggling to figure out what I want to eat, struggling to even think what I'm struggling with!

    Phone call today
"Hi, I got a letter this morning and I just want to make sure you have my current address"
"Well did the letter go to your current address?"
    "Yes"
    "So...?"
Seriously?! I have enough to do without this BS added into the mix.

I will be in the next cell. Even the description ugh, I can just see and hear them. Definitely a TA of mine.

It's my biggest TA. The anger I feel when someone starts that. I have to stop eating because it makes me feel sick. Inconsiderate so and so's.

Today's TA is when the oven needs to be cleaned but you cook in it anyway and your eyes start to sting from it. Yuck.

My oven needs to be recleaned from the last time I cleaned it as I just spread the gunk around.
But on the plus side, I know that the smoke alarm works perfectly every time I use the oven.

I need motivation now. I'm totally unmotivated to do what I need to do now.

Spending three hours a day acting as an IT helpdesk/trainer to someone who won't listen, won't read, won't stop you when they don't understand, won't ask questions, and gets angry at you when, after you've asked them if they've understood and they've confirmed that yes, they have and stop nagging, you ask them to repeat what you've taught them, and they realise they can't.

It's like watching a polar bear with a touch screen. Kill me now. Please! PLEEEEEASE!!!!

I was just about to post similar...it's the weirdest day in a long time, everyone seemed to be the same and it's not the usual Monday blues, people who are normally upbeat were very quiet today ...there's an eerie feeling around imo.

yeh, I have that too. I woke up today in the weirdest of moods. And I don't normally dislike Mondays. I mean I like them less than Fridays, but not this bad.

I am going to watch Ireland play later on, normally thats a good night out ( well the beer and company if not the football) but I dont want to go. I want to go home.
