Don't put it on until you're ready to go, or you won't feel the benefit of it.

I feel horrible anout myself today.

I just read back my TA from last night. I didn't realise what a bitch I was.

I actually cried earlier and apologised to my other half for being a cow and he said not to be silly and I didn't do anything wrong but I did.

I mistook his having a good night and being affectionate for being annoying and I feel pretty sh*te about myself today.

My stance on this sort of thing is ALWAYS - everything is relative. In the moment it annoyed you. Yes, it was trivial, but that doesn't diminish how it annoyed you. It's okay to be annoyed by trivial things. There's no need to beat yourself up. You were annoyed, you no longer are. You felt bad and now, you've soothed the matter.

Not TA but my mam just rang me to say that her shed was broken into last night and her strimmers and lawnmower taken along with my bike. Wtf is wrong with people that they feel they can take things that don't belong to them, never mind the mental aftermath of leaving an elderly woman afraid in her own home.

TA is probably too minor, but I have been hearing the C word in a lot of TV ad's today..

LEAF/LITTER BLOWING MACHINES.That time of the year again to round up those nasty leaves. These machines are a noisy, environmentally unsound and pointless item.If there's a few leaves blocking your gully or messing up your drive 10 minutes with the broom will sort it out.As for council employees using them to scream-blow litter at 5am,bring back the old wheeled barrel bins and industrial broom & pan.

TA, dog whines at the door to go out, I open the door and she just looks out and doesn't budge. I think that's why I love my fish so much.

The educational institution to which I am currently affiliated has absolutely C*R*A*P* journal access (and that has improved considerably in the last 5 years from pretty much non-existent).

I am currently chasing my tail and trying to write something half decent with appropriate evidence based references and I cannot access the appropriate journals either via the library website, google scholar or *ahem* other means. RAGE!

EDIT: AAAAND the computer died, I didn't have the bl00dy presentation saved and the autosave decided to go for a teabreak. Four hours of work down the plughole!!!

Unexpected guests who arrive at dinner-time.

I was just dishing up the dinner when the doorbell went. The fella's brother and his wife.
I do like them but Jesus, 6pm on a Sunday? Aren't most people having dinner?

I stopped dishing up, threw the plates in the oven and proceeded to make teas and coffees for two hours, while my stomach rumbled with the hunger.

I cannot eat with people there, just can't.
When they eventually fked off, I had my soggy chips and wrinkled sausages

I went out for dinner this evening in a lovely restaurant and was having a great time until the people at the table next to us started to eat. Good God I've never heard anything like it. I was going to liken their chewing to that of an animal but it would actually insult the poor animal. They were absolutely disgusting!!! Mouths wide open, chewing loudly, slurping and speaking with full mouths. I HATE hearing people eat, it makes me so angry.

It happened last week at the cinema too, the man next to me was eating nachos. He bit into each and every one of them with extreme force and then licked his thumb and finger after every single nacho.

It's more than a trivial annoyance. I will be imprisoned over my reaction to it some day. How can a grown adult eat like that in public? I would be mortified.
