It's the disappointment of a notification of a new post in the thread that turns out not to be a video but a comment on someone doing 46 in a 50 zone or merging incorrectly (or correctly)

oh be real, the road outside my house is a 50 limit, 99% of cars are doing more than that I'd wager and some much more.

Oh be real yourself. Just cause 99% of traffic passing your house breaks the limit, that doesn't make it right or ok for the rest of the road users to break the limit in order to keep the impatient traffic behind happy.

I think you might need to reevaluate you behaviour on the roads, as judging by your posts you appear to have no respect for the rules of the road.

Scroll down page quickly without reading comments.

See videos (they'll be big squares with a play button on them and text at the top). Very easy to pick out even when scrolling quickly.

    Only click on videos.

    Watch videos.

When at end then click on 'my forums' or front page link and carry on.

    Too much work?

Can you call over and do that for me

I didn't say it was right or Ok , I said it was illegal.I also never said I do this. I sincerely doubt there is anyone who doesn't break the limit on occasion or break the Law otherwise. It's sanctimonious for people to say one transgression is not on when they probably break Laws themself.

For anyone who is wondering, the teaser image for that clip which has nothing to do with any of the vids in the clip is of a fatal Russian bus v train crash, 16 dead.

Yes, it is annoying when they do those videos and have a random image that isn't applicable to the actual video.

was watching one of the Polish youtube dashcam channels yesterday, one of the clips was a car coming to a level crossing, the car slows down just before the tracks as a train goes barreling pass, trains disappeared and then the warning lights and barriers come on. very very lucky car driver

Form the video it looks like a manually controlled crossing rather than automatic and the operator was a bit slow coming out and lowering the barriers.
Cinio can probably tell us about the prevalence of manual crossings in Poland?

Fined, license taken away and up to the CBR (the state monster that is responsible for licenses, who gets it and whose is going to be taken away) if she ll get it back.

I would think all of them in Poland are manual, but I might be wrong.

There was a case in 2004, when operator forgot to close the barrier, and one of the most famous Polish rally drivers - Janusz Kulig - died in accident with a train.

Not everywhere, but yes, they're mostly manual.

No interlock! in most places the signals on the track won't clear the line until the gates or barrie3rs are closed to road traffic.

that's not true I'm afraid. Modern AHB crossings are operated by the approaching train and aren't interlocked with anything. Sometimes (in the UK where they move quickly) you could have not much more than 20 seconds from the lights flashing to the train approaching.

    The poor chase car:

    430281.jpg
Just after the officers get out of the BMW, their colleagues in one of the Insignias can be heard over the radio saying they too are being rammed by the RS6. The gang was able to escape after the chase.

West Midlands Police confirmed two members of the gang which rammed the officers on June 18 last year were arrested for an attack with an angle grinder on Post Office in the Black Country three months later.
