I do think having SBMM in normal crucible makes trials far more difficult for a lot of players as they end up facing a higher standard of opposition than they're used to. Trials is in a weird spot where it's actually the easiest mode for a lot of pvp players. Enjoyed the few matches I played yesterday, hopefully finish my card tonight.

Yeah, that first round where we didn't put a scratch on them didn't bode well for winning the match!

Still great (for me!) to get to seven wins, even if not flawless.

Wanted the handcannon - got 4 of them:D

I much preferred it to Countdown, but that being said, I played a hell of a lot more games this weekend than the previous 2

Got the Primary Submachinegun which is pretty savage.

If only we didn't have that 1 team we'd have been laughing.

Think we got a bit of luck though with some of those teams being absolutely brutal, bit weird coming up against ~0.4 KD players when you have 6 wins

I'll be on but I have a few weekly things to do so not really pushed about sinking too much time into trials. I'd actually prefer the countdown mode as it's a bit more active.

I have it but not really used it. Does it have HCRs. This seems a particularly Important feature of Uriels. Anytime I'm hit by it I'm jittering like I'm being electrocuted. Uriels is my goto secondary, embrace the meta.

When are the best days/times to run a Trials card generally?

Noticed a huge gulf in difference last week in the opponents we faced on Friday evening vs (I think) Monday evening

Monday by far and away. About 5 of the teams were averaging ~0.8 KDR or lower. 7th win was against lads about ~0.45 KDR iirc

I'd say stay away from Friday and after that I'd say Sunday morning for the best run or Monday morning if you can manage it.

I'd say Friday at 6pm is the most difficult. Other than that it just depends on luck of the draw. On other games like cod ranked play we've noticed that late at night tends to be quite difficult, i.e. the people still playing at 2am tend to be pretty into the game..but I've not played trials that late so not sure if its the same, I assume it would be.

Played on friday night and the standard was pretty high, managed our first flawless fine but the second took a few attempts. Played a bit more on Sunday and it was significantly easier.

Haven't had many problems with PvP. One game of IB though was cruel. Game started off and I got a couple of kills, playing quite slow and the next thing I knew we were 9-27 down. Game had just started!?! Coming up against players that know what they're doing is bewildering.
Trials is a no go zone for me

Went Flawless Friday night, which was nice but also a little sad, after an early loss I reset my card out of habit, one of the other lads switched character after that so we had 2 groups running on different wins so only 2 of us went flawless. ****ing shame, think we were on 8 wins when we finally hit our 7.

One thing that's amazed me so far in D2 is how prevalent account recoveries are. I've been doing most of my runs through LFG and in the majority of them at least 1 player on the team has been doing an account recovery.

The person doing the trials run will log into their ps4 (or xbox?) as the player that wants to go to the lighthouse and run it as a stacked team rather than a carry.

So the twitch guy basically pretends to be 'me'.

One of the people in the clan got a D1 trails completion with someone doing that for them. Not a fan of the practice at all, personally. Don't see the point in going to the lighthouse if you had absolutely nothing at all to do with it.
