The takeaway tea and coffee culture. I know a lad that spends almost a tenner a day on takeaway coffees. I bring a travel mug of tea with me in the mornings and have a kettle in work for a cup at lunchtime.
Each to their own I suppose, some waste of money though.

The physical waste of disposable cups is one of my TA's.

I was just going to grump about this anyway. TA when drinking lots of water for a scan, people were surprised that I wasn't just throwing the plastic tumbler away and getting a new one for each new fill of water.Why would I? It takes energy to make them and they never break down when they're dumped.

All of that for nothing. She wouldn't give me the UAN number because the account was in my dads name so she wanted to speak to him. I said he's deceased. She said send on a death certificate. I said it's a UAN number I'm looking for not his bank account details like. Ugh. Fail.

I may have said some unsavoury things. He didn't respond and hung up.

I think they're just a little confused between their adverbs, possessive pronouns and abbreviations there.;)

I am the same. I called the teenager a selfish little wagon before she went out to school one day last week, and felt like sh1t till she came home. She was only laughing at me then. Not sure if it is a TA but I just can't be mean. Other people wouldn't give it a second thought and just go on with their day.

Be proud of yourself for feeling bad, it's a damned improvement on feeling smug or being oblivious as so many are.
Don't overdo the guilt though, you were probably right.
