    Was cancelled after 1 series

Seinfield is incredibly bankable, even now. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee was a huge smash hit for him (I wouldn't be surprised if the vast majority of the $100m went on the rights for that). Plus it would make sense for him to move from Crackle to a giant like Netflix.

The first double of episode of The Good Place season 2 is now up.

Is The Good Place Season 1 up? I only saw the trailer for it after finishing American Vandal.

By the way - American Vandal is far better than it should have been.

I really wish they brought back The Office (US)... oh well.

I recommend Dark Net.. it's actually quite interesting.

I really wasn't sure about when I started watching last year but it turned into a very good comedy series.

My advice for The Good Place is give it a few episodes... I dismissed it after the first or two but it turned into an incredibly funny and well-made series, plus I've never seen a comedy nail cliffhangers like it.

I thought it was absolute rubbish. A funny parody trailer yes. Maybe a parody hour. 4 hours or so? Hell no.

American Vandal is excellent, well recommended.

Also, it's a little grim, but Time -The Kalief Browder Story is great, well made, and an incredible story of how one guy got screwed by the US justice system.

I thought I heard Netflix is actually losing a lot of money no?

You're mixing it up with Spotify.

Anyone recommend some horrors on Netflix? Only signed up last night and watched Stakelander.....decent enough character work but with a merciful run time, as you could tell the budget was stretched.

Netflix are taking a huge gamble. They're putting producing content ahead of making a profit.

According to the Observer, they are $20b in debt.

Have to say - I'm delighted they are. They're producing so much quality content in such a short space of time.

American Horror Story? The first and second seasons are pretty great.

Stake Land 2: The Stakelander made me laugh. Will Stake Land 3 be the Stakelanderer?

You're Next and The Invitation are both quality horror/thrillers that everyone should watch. I wasn't a huge fan of It Follows but a lot of people have a serious love for it.

If you haven't seen the horror comedy Tucker and Dale Vs Evil, you should remedy that straight away.

The confession tapes is chilling viewing about people who are innocent of murder and end up confessing to the crime because of bullying by law enforcement, crazy stuff altogether

They have a huge number of subscribers but isnt the 100m they paid Seinfeld more than half their 2016 profit?

They seem to have paid ridiculous fees to a few people over the last few months.

Not quite ......... they make about 2 billion (that's billion with a "b"!) dollars a quarter which they re-invest (100 million dollar investment into Seinfeld is a drop in the ocean for them!) with plans to recoup ........ it's a gamble but it does seem to be paying off with about 104 million current subscribers worldwide.

Re-investing profits into content with a view to growing their userbase/revenue isn't exactly the same as losing money.

There ain't no profits to reinvest. Their spending is way outgrossing their intake. So yes, currently they're losing money.

    A heads up.

Watch out for Netflix email scam that looks like the real deal
Your readers should be aware of a convincing scam Netflix email that almost caught me out. An email from supportnetflix@checkinformation.com arrived, warning that my Netflix account was on hold because of a problem with my last payment. A link in the email takes users to a fake Netflix page where you are invited to input your bank details. It is realistic and will no doubt catch out a few people whose bank card has just expired. CK, London

The warning has been duly delivered, and you are right – it was convincing. Consumers should be sceptical of any email with an embedded link. Rather than clicking through, always open a new browser and log into your account as if you’d never received the email.
