Ya just read that Kane has never scored against West Ham. This week is a head wreck.

There's a first time for everything.

    Heard that about august .......

I wonder if Sane could end up replacing Jesus, Jesus to Vardy is quite tempting

Just double checked. He scored twice against them in the space of 6 mins to turn a 2-1 loss in a 3-2 in the fixture at whl last November

So he's never scored at West Ham, which is fairly irrelevant considering they are at a new home now.

EDIT: I checked there. He's scored 5 goals and got 1 assist in the league against West Ham. 5 goals at White Hart Lane and 1 assist at Upton Park.

Sorry forgot to add that I meant he hadn't scored away against them. But as you said, there's a first time for everything

Yea he's nailed on to start v Palace now. Have to cough up an extra 0.2 now than those who brought him in earlier in the week and take a -4 to get him in but that's the chance you take.

I feel you simply can't go without him this weekend and he'll almost never let you down in these sort of games the way Kane has a habit of doing imo.

After playing the full 90 mins tonight I'd be very wary of Jesus for the weekend. Can easily see him been benched but may replace Aguero for the last 10-20 mins to give him a break ahead of the Champions League game midweek.

I took Kane out for Aguero this week.

Plan to just go Aguero to Kane next week.

    Captain Kunnnnn

Aguero is popular. He's about to hit 500,000 in "transferred in" on the FPL status page. So whether he clicks this weekend or not, he's going to be a huge influence.

Jesus playing 90 minutes tonight made me very uncomfortable so gone for a big switcharoo going back heavy ward Gomez tuanzebe atsu mahrez and Jesus out for Mendy bavies kola Ramsey groß and joselu. -12 is bigger hit than I'd like but hoping its for the long term gain getting closer to the team id want now.

    Elliot foster
    Mendy kola bavies alonso Jones
    Ramsey groß Antonio salah Carroll
    Kane firmino Joselu

Thinking of a 5-2-3 this week

Not the greatest midfield nor the greatest attack, very strong back 4 though. I really don't see the appeal with Joselu or Ramsey

I can see the appeal of Ramsey. He is only 7.0m.

Has been in the box quite a bit from the Arsenal games I've seen and they have a very good run now.

That said, my hardest decision now is should I go with Ramsey or Antonio. Money no object.

I was all set to go with Ramsey, and was quite happy to, but now I've got extra cash and Antonio is also an option now.

If I don't get Aguero in I could spend the money on Mendy and Kolasinac instead. Upgrading defence appeals as I'm playing 4-3-3 but don't have any big hitters in there. Really struggling with a decision this week.

    Brought in Aguero for Kane.

Team looked so strong after the wildcard but the likes of Chicharito, Mooy, Eriksen and Firmino have all blanked the past few weeks with returns far below expectation, coupled with the highest owned (and captained) Lukaku scoring late to kill the rankings for non-owners.

Not happy with the team going in to this week tbh! Every player bar Aguero is playing Away, with no 'easy' fixtures. Another bad week will see my rank topple well past 1m. Considering benching Chicharito and starting Lowe, seems like a nailed on 2 pointer VS the Spurs defence.

Liverpool hammering Leicester to take revenge for the Cup defeat would be more than welcome!

Dilva and Morata out for Kun and Richie for a -4...............Yay or Nay? Not inclined to do it myself as I think in the long term (the next 5 or 6 weeks) the first 2 will match or beat the other 2 but scared going without Kun.

Can't afford Kun without tearibg up my team...might get Vardy for chicarito tho

Thinking Jesus to Vardy and then Cesc to Dillva for a minus 4, not sure though, too hard to call if Jesus will start or not

Hard call really, I'd assume Kun would outscore Morata but Dilva would outscore Ritchie, I guess it comes down whether you really want Aguero or not

    Think I've finally decided:

Eriksen Firmino Yedlin to Aguero Kolasinac Atsu

-4 and 0 itb. Would leave me with this for the weekend

    Elliot
    Kolasinac Naughton Jones Mee
    Mkhi Salah Atsu
    Kane Lukaku Aguero

Midfield is weak enough but big 3 up front won't be a long term strategy. Would give me more time to assess cheaper forwards and premium mids and I can captain Aguero for 3 of the next 4.

    It's almost impossible to call.

Pep has never actually dropped Jesus. the most he normally does is just give him 60 minutes.

But if you're putting any logic on how Pep has gone about his lineups and substitutions, as well as the form of some of his 'bench players', then if I had a gun to my head, I'd say that Sane starts against Palace instead of Jesus.

    But...

the 2 up front has worked phenomenally for City, and Pep could easily just stick Jesus on with the idea that he only plays 60 minutes at most, assuming that City will be out of sight.

As you say, it's a complete head fúck, primarily because not having City coverage against a thus far horrendous Palace is asking to be mauled. If it weren't a potential whipping boy fixture, I'd just leave Jesus in and hope for the best. But you're asking for a heap of trouble.

My other concern is that Jesus is playing out wide, watching him against Watford he had very few touches in the box and his goal should have been offside, so even if he does start, I'm not sure his returns will be all that great

    Honest advice needed.

Is Alonso ----> Otamendi and Jesus ----> Aguero for -4 a stupid, reactionary move?

WC'd last week and my team is currently:

    Elliot Gomes
    Alonso Davies Maguire Naughton Rosenior
    Mkhi Salah Ritchie Choupo Carroll
    Kane Jesus Vardy

    0.6 in the bank.

Rather than Alonso ----> Otamendi, I could do Maguire to a 4.5 defender from Burnley or Brighton.

    Aguero fear is in.

My gut is just to play Jesus and hope for the best - carry over the FT and get Aguero in some way next week maybe.

If it was me, I'd sooner keep Alonso and switch Maguire to Ward/Clark/Lascelles if you have a bit of change. I do think Walker or Mendy will be the better City defenders to have in the long run.

0.1m short to do KDB --> Dilva and Firmino --> Aguerooooooo

Will be watching the risers/fallers closely tonight but likely to miss out with Firmino dropping I would think.

Barring a miracle, I'll be Kun-less for another while....will either bank or upgrade Long to Jones

I couldn't blame you if you go for it, though I'd hold Alonso and do the second option. Aguero looks better at the moment but my gut feeling says himself and Jesus will score pretty equally over the course of the season. I guess you're thinking captain choice for this week too? You have a pretty good alternative option in Kane too (I'm now on KDB after being on Jesus - just not confident of a Jesus start on Saturday)

You're thinking like me. I'm just being swayed by the captaincy this week.

It's actually stupid to get rid of Alonso. he's a massive differential, and will probably be in the top 3 scoring defenders this season.

i can't have everyone. it's just Aguero is such a juicy carrot against that Palace side when he's nailed to start and Jesus is a slight doubt.

Right. -8 complete. Rolling the dice. Kun, please don't smite me

Firmino to Quaner, Chicharito to Rooney, and Carroll to Siggy. Double Everton attack. Please a repeat of last season's scoreline v Bournemouth

    Fabianski(Elliott)
    Jones Bavies Mee (Trippier Mbemba)
    Salah KdB(c) Mkyryan Siggy Eriksen
    Jesus Rooney (Quaner)

Trippier is bugging me. Likely not to start this weekend and i don't want that doubt from week to week. Good chance he'll be replaced by a Saints defender by GW8. Bavies will suffice

After Jesus playing yesterday I have done:

    Jesus -> Aguero
    Tadic -> Davis

    -4

It feels good to have Aguero back i must say

    Firmino - Aguero
    Tadic - Brady
    Yoshida - Mee

    -8

Said I'd be more aggressively on transfers this season and this is the first manifestation of that. I've a feeling for Mee with a goal and clean sheet at the weekend. I just don't like Southampton any more.

    Wildcard still unused.
