Certainly against the grain that for sure.

Most ppl are trying to fit in Aguero, kane and Lukaku and you are neither.

But that's the kinda front 5 that could score well on a given week.
No way I'd double up on Everton... One is risky, two is madness. Can you afford Firmino or Vardy?

I wouldn't say it's madness... Just against the grain :D My gut says Everton turn things round and starting with Bournemouth at home would be the perfect game to do so. Have Firmino as is and could work in Vardy easy enough. I do fancy Rooney and Siggy to do very well going forward though. My patience has run out with Chicharito, and Milner back playing lessens Firmino appeal (as well as not great looking upcoming fixtures)

I've squeezed Kane - Aguero - Lukaku in for next week with a -4, need a goal from Kun to offset that. Midfield is hurt now thou ......

Salah - Dilva - Brady - Tom Carroll - Doucore

Buying kun is dangerous, pep will 'rest' him regularly

Don't have the money to do Pogba to Mhiki and Lukaku to Agero unfortunately (didn't realise Kun had risen last night). Is Pogba to Ramsey a terrible idea?

As always, I'd rather appear foolish by owning a rested Aguero than not owning high scoring Aguero.

I appear quite the fool this weekend, and I don't like it.

Has he ever got more than 20 in the League? Jesus is still his number 1 if he plays 1 up front imo

Just the 4 times in 6 seasons, including the last 3 in a row.

Moving to a Kane Lukaku Aguero frontline

    I'm looking at this...

    Foster/Elliott
    Mee, Naughton, Mbemba, Lowe, Jones
    Miki, Salah, Ritchie, Gross, Carroll
    Lukaku, Kane, Aguero

    Opinions?

Looks about as good as you're gonna get with that frontline

Is that front line worth it for the rest of the team though? Or should I downgrade one of the front three?

    Thoughts on Southampton's Davis?
    Decent fixtures after Utd.

Needed so I can afford Firmino > Aguero.

It's a tough question! Regular points wise I think you might do better with a less expensive front 3, but when you factor in captaincy points you probably make that back due to having excellent captaincy choices - although a caveat in that regard in regards to Aguero - it could be a 20 pointer or a one pointer - depending on how Pep decides to Pep!

I like it. Going for similar myself, though I'll try and squeeze lascelle in there.

Change Foster, Mee, Lowe and Gross to Fabianski, Davies, Cedric and King and you have my wildcard team.

    Just done a -4

    Morata to Lukaku
    Mahrez to Ritchie

Looking at fabianskis fixtures, I'll be swapping Foster for him too.
Think I might do without lukaku this week in favour of Wood and then bring him in next week against Palace.

Looking at doing these two transfers for a -4

    Kane > Aguero
    Luiz > Kolasinac

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2 Digigold

    Kane to Aguero.
Front line of Jesus Lukaku Aguero.

    I've Eriksen as Spurs cover.

Just looking at the Aguero/Jesus stats for the last 5 games and noticed a potential trend developing regarding their game time:

    GW2: Everton
    Aguero - 90 mins
Jesus - 45 mins (sacrificed at HT after red card)

    GW3: Bournemouth
    Aguero - 24 mins (didn't start)
    Jesus - 81 mins

    GW4: Liverpool
    Aguero - 90 mins
    Jesus - 56 mins

    Champions League: Feyenoord
    Aguero - 60 mins
    Jesus - 90 mins

    GW5: Watford
    Aguero - 90 mins
    Jesus - 64 mins

Seems like whoever played longer the previous game will have less game time next time out. Interesting to see if either play in the league cup mid week. Could be a pointer for the Palace game - if I'm bringing Kun in I don't want him subbed off for the last half hour against a likely dejected Palace defence. They'll also be playing the following Tuesday in Champions League.

Aguero in, kane out. Better fixtures for city and Wembley is hurting spurs. Gives me an extra million to upgrade in midfield next week

That's some great work slimshady, thanks. Hoping Kun is rested midweek as I've already transferred him in for Rom. I'll get rid of Kane or Aguero for Lukaku again next week to get him back for the Palace game.
Think your sample size might be a bit small to judge yet though.

    2 FTs Looking at:
    A) Pogba to Mhiki, Lukaku to Aguero
    or
    B) Pogba to Atsu (Budget 5.2m-other options can be considered) Alonso to Bavies, Chico to Aguero for -4.

Thoughts appreciated. I need to get rid of Pogba tonight before losing value.

B imo. Chico became Firmino for me this week. Arnie, Lanzini, Ayew etc will be options for Billic.

I've Atsu but banking some may be an option for you.

    Aguero, Vardy and Mkhitaryan in.

Jesus lack of minutes isn't ideal and Kane isn't worth his price tag. Spurs have been somewhat unlucky so far but the Wembley thing is putting me off. Think they'll struggle to reach last years heights.

Lukaku, Aguero and Kane up front means team is too weak elsewhere.

    Siggy Mkryan Salah Eriksen KDB
    Jesus Rooney

Taking a punt on Everton but their horrible run is out of the way and you just know Rooney and Siggy are going to hog the attacking points

Who's your captain then this week Digigold?

And NO to the other included posts.

Agreed, his stats speak for themselves, especially with the amount of time he's missed through injury.

If he was playing in the league as long as, and at the same time as Shearer when the quality of opposition was lower, Shearer's 260 goal record would be seriously under threat.

But they both cost 4.5?
Is it because Mee is likely to drop?
