    I'm looking at this...

    Foster/Elliott
    Mee, Naughton, Mbemba, Lowe, Jones
    Miki, Salah, Ritchie, Gross, Carroll
    Lukaku, Kane, Aguero

    Opinions?

Looks similar enough to my team, have had Aguero, Lukaku and Kane in my team since start of the season, still waiting for that magic gw when all 3 click.

Before this week had been considering downgrading Aguero (mostly due to the fear of Pep resting/rotating him) and now mulling over downgrading Kane, but Kane has been unlucky not to have at least another 2 or 3 goals and all 3 have the potential to be explosive so most likely will stick with the 3 of them for the next 2 to 3 weeks.

    Looking at either:

    Firmino/Eriksen to Aguero/Tadic for -4
    Or
    Firmino/Eriksen/Simpson to Aguero/Atsu/Kola for -8

    Thoughts?
Better to straight swap Kane to Aguero?

    Many/any considering Kaku to Kun?

    2 FTs.

Option 1: Lukaku to Aguero and bank a transfer
Option 2: Lukaku to Jesus and Cedric to Kolasinac

Any thoughts? I'd love Aguero but would also like Kola for Arsenal's nice fixtures. Aguero has scored 12 more points than Jesus so far, is the extra million worth it?

for myself, I can't justify Kane out yet.

His fixtures are sweet, he's generally fixture proof, and he is going to post a brilliant score at some point soon. it's inevitable.

something I'm trying to learn is that I can't chase points. Aguero got his massive haul. i can't get that retrospectively. Kane is going to get a similar score soon, and I don't want to miss it. If Kane, was in bad areas of the pitch, or he was completely off form, then I'd be a lot more likely to get rid, but he's not. he's just scored his goals in the wrong matches so far!

Aguero in for him is a perfectly valid move. i wouldn't criticise anyone who does it, particularly because you get an extra 1m to spend elsewhere.

but there will be tears when he destroys some team. mark my words.

I've watched every one of his games, and he should've had a hat trick in pretty much every one. he's hit the woodwork in all but one I think?

    the pain is coming.

also, as an aside, you can't have every striker. on any given week, there is going to be a premium striker that you don't have who scores a 13 pointer or more. It's inevitable. Lukaku, Kun, Jesus, Lacazette, Morata and Kane are all liable to explode at any given point, and there's nothing you can do to get them all in your team to stop it hurting you in some way.

    100% agree with this.

Too many big hitters to have them all. And that's not counting the midfielders.

Salah/Mane/Sanchez/Hazard etc etc there is going to be huge swings this year.

I'm banking my transfer anyway. Happy with team. Despite none of my strikers scoring

But they both cost 4.5?
Is it because Mee is likely to drop?

Well, he was predicted to do so

    But he didnt

I wouldn't be rushing to get rid of Eriksen based on Saturday's performance. Even to get Aguero in.

Hernandez and Alli out, Kun and Gross in.

Going with Lukaku, Kane and Kun up front for now.

Midfield very lightweight atm as a consequence, but those are obviously three forwards who will start every single gameweek regardless of fixtures. Doucoure and Richarlison a double-up I wasn't expecting to see this sesaon

Anyone looking at transferring Firmino out or keeping the faith ? Once Mane is back he should be central again ?

Rage bought Aguero this morning. Got rid of Morata and Alli to do so.

Brought Kane in for Lukaku last week so I am steaming.

    De Gea Elliot
    Bavies Jones Lowe TAA Long
    Salah DeBryne Willian Mooy Cork
    Lukaku Kane Chicarito

Haven't taken a hit yet this season but looking at Willian Mooy Chico out for Vardy Ritchie and Davies

Seems logical to me anyone any input on it?

I transferred him out last week in my WC because he was likely to be shunted wide for a few games. Got Vardy in.

Don't rush Vardy in though. We have to see how his groin it doing.

I did it before yesterdays game. Happy with the decision.

This reminds me of that game last season when we all got Aguero in and captained him and he didn't start. Not sure I'm comfortable paying 11.5m for a player who could be benched at any time. After much thought, strongly considering keeping Lukaku for now.

Just as a matter of interest - how long will you give Kane, if he blanks this week and Aguero scores a brace, given how city are playing and scoring for fun, Aguero could go on a run like Suarez did a few years back.

City seem to start each season scoring for fun but it's still Kane that's been winning the golden boot. I won't be getting rid of him anyway.

Agreed. Kane forced a brilliant save from fabianski (the header), hit the crossbar and spurs had 2 clear penalties denied. On another day he could've got 3 or 4.
As has already been said, this has been the case in most of his games. The goals are coming.

    I don't know.

I believe it's slightly different now to the auto-Kun days. Don't get me wrong, he's a brilliant asset, but in vintage auto-Kun days, there was absolutely nobody who could get near his output.

Nowadays, Kane can. Lukaku can. Jesus might be able (especially as he's possibly on pens).

I may well slink back to Aguero in a GW or 2, but I'm going with my gut that others could easily do what he does on a given GW.

I'm not denying that Kane will be an asset over the course of the season, but I'm just curious how long folk will give him, it's easy to say he'll come good this and that, and if that's next week to say folk they were mad to get rid if they do.

But do you just keep him for the season with that mentality, or do you accept that maybe spurs are off the pace, if he blanks again this GW.

Not Rooney anyway, Everton are a mess atm and Rooney has a lot of $hit going on - the missus isn't happy for some reason.

I'd prefer Welbeck - he starts and has got goals this season - and they have a nice run of fixtures (just make sure he's fit first), I'm in the minority on him (I don't have him but if I was going down that road of a cheap 3rd striker it'd be him).

Trigger pulled: Mounie, Alli and Bailly ---> Aguero, Gross and Jones (-4) giving me the holy trinity up top. Not normally one to make such potentially disastrous early transfers. Now I wait and pray :D

yeah, been burnt by Rooney before but they have a few nice fixtures coming, so someone has to score the goals. :) tempted but not sure.
Welbeck is out for a month or so, id be getting him in otherwise.

my attcking line up would be...

    salah-erikson-artsu-silva-miki
    jesus-lukaku

    or

    salah-erikson-atsu-miki
    aguero-lukaku-rooney

cant make up my f8ckin mind

Contemplating the following now for -4

    Firmino to Jesus
    Eriksen to Ritchie
    Cedric to Kolasinac

    Would give me 4-3-3 of

    Jones Naughton Kola Mee
    Salah Mkhi Ritchie
    Kane Lukaku Jesus

    Yay or nay?

Firminho to Kun and Alli to Ritchie done.
Now have Kane Lukaku Kun front three.

Will be wild carding during the next international break.
