    I agree but the issue being discussed here is when abuse comes into the above. And tbh, if people find films with a young woman or man getting ploughed by a few others and deep throating a few penises... it's hardly crazy unreasonable to question how ideal this is as a job. :)

    It's easy to say their choice, consenting adults, nobody else's business etc, but nobody would want their family member doing it.

    Criticism of the type of porn we are talking about does not mean taking issue with films of people having sex full stop at all.

    Naked women are great but I've never liked porn involving a man and a woman. I've never seen an attractive woman and thought "she'd look even better if she was having sex with a man who isn't me" or "her face would be even nicer with jizz all over it".

    The internet is also rapidly changing the porn industry, as it apparently is the prostitution industry too - doing huge damage to large scale providers but also giving a platform for independent producers/would be porn stars to set up their own website or account on whatever websites and try to get as many viewers, subscribers, etc as they can. The result apparently being less overall profit, but more flexibility and freedom (and I would assume as least, less exploitation). After watching Louis Theroux's documentaries on the porn industry, this is surely a good thing.

    Likewise with prostitution, apparently it is not doing much damage to the overall industry but instead is killing off the role of the pimp as women can make a profile or website online and set up appointments, vet clients, etc etc before meeting them rather than being left vulnerable on a street corner. Again that has to be a good thing, at least compared to what was there before.

    A very good one possibly because I have done worse jobs and so do a lot of other people unfortunatley.

    Actually you mention family members........a lot of the new stuff involves wifes and girlfriends and hubby's and boyfriends.

    It should be a drug tested profession. One can't go to work high on drugs in any other profession so why are they allowed.

    Watch both Louis Therox documentaries and that's all you'll need to know how seedy the 'industry' is.

    Just as someone says in the second documentary: "they're all sluts" - same goes for escorts. Messed up people in a messed up industry.

    There seems to be a real fear these days to make any moral judgement. Not even "moral", just any judgement itself. An odd equivalence applied to a reality where things that are good and things that are bad can be defined. As a tableau of morals at cross purposes I struggle to find a better one.

    For some people, sex is nothing more than a fun pastime, no baggage attached. I'm not one of those people, but I don't believe anybody has a moral right to enforce their own cultural beliefs about sex upon anybody else - that's why I view such judgment as inherently wrong. If someone enjoys, or is ok with, "chugging cock on camera for fame or a hundred bucks", then that's all that matters - there's no such thing as right and wrong except where there's an unwilling victim involved.

    I'm just curious how many men a woman has to have sex with before she qualifies to be a 'slut'.

    From my experience a 'slut' or 'slag' was usually a girl/woman who had got off with a man the other girls wanted to get off with or was living the free life other girls/women would love to have:)

    Don't be depending on it for a living though. There seems to be a lot of ladies travelling in taxies who've forgotten their purse.

    I'm not sure was it it making porn that killed most of them though.

    The ones who died in 1990/91 were riddled with Aids which was also killing movie stars and musicians as well due to the fact that they were having unprotected sex with loads of people.

    The rest of them seemed to be prostitutes or drug users who got mixed up with some very dangerous people.

    Freedom of speech includes judging though, and sometimes it's not definite that they're willing (going by negatives documented, and drug addiction being common in the industry).

    Then there are those who do want to do it, but wondering why would anyone want to do that (same as the way I wonder why someone would want to work in a really busy bar or doing door to door sales) is just expressing a point of view.
